Making our Tropical Soap:

Here's what's included in your kit:

  • 4 lbs Diamond Clear Melt and Pour Soap Base
  • 115 grams Shea Butter Melt and Pour Soap Base
  • Tropical Escape Fragrance Oil
  • Vanilla White Color Stabilizer
  • Enchanted Mermaid Mica
  • Tempting Turquoise Mica
  • Summer Sunshine Shimmer Mica
  • Tangerine Tango Mica
  • Silicone Loaf Soap Mold
  • 2 oz Bullet Bottle
  • 20/410 Fine Mist Sprayer

Other Ingredients You'll Need: Scale, Microwave safe containers, Knife, Microwave, Mixing Spoon, Rubbing Alcohol (In Bullet Bottle)

  1. Weigh out 566 grams of the Diamond Clear Melt and Pour Soap Base.  Melt the soap in the microwave in 30-second intervals until the soap is in a fluid state using a microwave safe bowl for soap making.
  2. Add 16 grams of the Tropical Escape Fragrance Oil and 5 grams of the Vanilla White Color Stabilizer.  Stir.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, add 1/8 tsp Enchanted Mermaid Mica and 1/8 tsp Tempting Turquoise Mica mix with just a small amount of isopropyl alcohol and stir.  Add this to your melted soap base and stir.
  4. Pour the soap into the loaf soap mold.
  5. Weigh out and melt 113 grams of the Shea Butter Melt and Pour Soap Base.  Melt the soap in the microwave in 30-second intervals until the soap is in a fluid state using a microwave safe bowl for soap making.
  6. Add 4 grams of the Tropical Escape Fragrance Oil and 1 gram of the Vanilla White Color Stabilizer.  Stir.
  7. Pour the soap into the mold.  Spray with alcohol to release any air bubbles.  Allow the soap to set up before moving on.
  8. Weigh out and melt 188 grams of the Diamond Clear MP Soap. Melt the soap in the microwave in 30-second intervals until the soap is in a fluid state using a microwave safe bowl for soap making.
  9. Add 6 grams of the Tropical Escape Fragrance Oil and 2 grams of the Vanilla White Stabilizer. Stir.
  10. In a small bowl, blend 1/8 tsp Summer Sunshine Shimmer Mica with a small amount of alcohol.  Add this to your melted soap base and stir.
  11. Spray the soap in your soap mold with alcohol and pour the melted soap into the soap mold.  Spray with alcohol to release any air bubbles.  Allow the soap to set up before moving on.
  12. Weigh out and melt 188 grams of the Diamond Clear MP Soap. Melt the soap in the microwave in 30-second intervals until the soap is in a fluid state using a microwave safe bowl for soap making.
  13. Add 6 grams of the Tropical Escape Fragrance Oil and 2 grams of the Vanilla White Stabilizer. Stir.
  14. In a small bowl, blend 1/8 tsp Summer Sunshine Shimmer Mica with just a pinch of the Tangerine Tango Mica. Mix these with a small amount of alcohol.  Add this to your melted soap base and stir.
  15. Spray the soap in your soap mold with alcohol and pour the melted soap into the soap mold.  Spray with alcohol to release any air bubbles.  Allow the soap to set up before moving on.
  16. Weigh out and melt 188 grams of the Diamond Clear MP Soap. Melt the soap in the microwave in 30-second intervals until the soap is in a fluid state using a microwave safe bowl for soap making.
  17. Add 6 grams of the Tropical Escape Fragrance Oil and 2 grams of the Vanilla White Stabilizer. Stir.
  18. In a small bowl, blend 1/8 tsp Tangerine Tango Mica with a small amount of alcohol.  Add this to your melted soap base and stir.
  19. Spray the soap in your soap mold with alcohol and pour the melted soap into the soap mold.  Spray with alcohol to release any air bubbles.  Allow the soap to set up before moving on.
  20. Once the soap has set up, remove it from the mold and cut it into 8 slices.
