Clay Foot Mask Kit

Making our Clay Foot Mask:

Here's what's included in your kit:

• Castor Oil
• Vegetable Glycerin
• Sodium Lactate
• Silky Emulsifying Wax
• Avocado Oil
• Mango Butter
• Coastal Paradise Fragrance Oil
• Vitamin E Oil (Tocopherol 50)
• Dead Sea Salt
• Dead Sea Clay Powder
• Optiphen Preservative
• 4 oz Low Profile
• 70/400 Lids (color and type varies)

Other Items Needed: Mixing Bowl, Stove, Hand Held Mixer, Distilled Water, Scale, Thermometer, Pots (for double boiler)

Intstructions:

1. Clean and sanitize your work area and all of your packaging materials. It is suggested that you wear gloves, protective clothing, and a hair net while preparing this recipe.
2. In a large bowl, add 298 grams of distilled water, 21 grams castor oil, and 22 grams vegetable glycerin. Set this aside.
3. Using the double boiler method on your stovetop, weigh and melt 33 grams stearic acid, 42 grams silky emulsifying wax, 85 grams avocado oil, and 11 grams mango butter. Then, remove from heat.
4. While blending, slowly add the large bowl containing the water, olive oil, and vegetable glycerin mixture to the melted oil/butter/wax mixture. You will notice as the two mixtures combine it will become creamy and slightly thicker.
5. Once the temperature reaches 120 degrees Fahrenheit, add 9 grams of with the Coastal Paradise Fragrance Oil, 4 grams of Vitamin E, and 6 grams Optiphen. Mix well.
6. Next, add 14 grams Dead Sea Salt and 60 grams Dead Sea Clay to your mixture. Mix well.
7. Cover mixture and place in the refrigerator overnight.
8. Remove the mixture from the refrigerator and beat with your hand mixer.
9. Scoop the mixture into your jars and place a lid on each jar.
