Light Pink Soap Batter:
1 drop Tomato Red FUN Soap Colorant
Darker Pink Soap Batter:
3 drops Tomato Red FUN Soap Colorant
White Soap Batter:
3 grams Titanium Dioxide
(Mixed with a small amount of soaping oils)
Step 1: Prepare your lye solution. Weigh out your distilled water and slowly add the lye stirring in between each addition. Allow the lye solution to come to room temperature.
Step 2: Prepare your soaping oils. Weigh out and melt your soaping oils. Also allow them to come to room temperature.
Step 3: While you are waiting for your lye solution and soaping oils to come to room temperature prepare your titanium dioxide. In a small bowl, weigh out three grams of the titanium dioxide and mix it with a small amount of your soaping oils.
Step 4: When both your lye solution and soaping oils are at room temperature, combine them. Use a stick blender to emulsify them. Add the Wishing for You Fragrance Oil. Once again, stick blend.
Step 5: Separate your soap batter into three equal portions. To the first bowl add, the titanium dioxide mixture you prepared earlier. To the second bowl, add one drop of the tomato run FUN Soap Colorant. To the third bowl, add three drops of the tomato red Fun Soap Colorant. Stick blend the contents of each bowl.
Step 6: Now, begin pouring the soap batter into the soap mold. Begin with the first color and pour some of the soap better down the center of the mold. Next, pour some of the second color into the mold. Finally, pour some of the third color. Repeat this process until you have used up all of your soap batter. Use a wooden skewer to swirl the soap until you are happy with the swirls.
Step 7: Allow the soap to set up for 24 to 48 hours before removing it from the mold And cutting it. Once your soap has cured it will be ready to use.
Note: If you have never made CP soap before, this kit is not recommended. Also, when making cold process soap it is imperative that you become familiar with soap making safety and procedures before preparing this recipe. If you are not familiar with soap making safety and procedures, you should not use this kit. You will also want to wear a face mask, apron, gloves, goggles, long sleeves, long pants, and close toed shoes the entire time you are preparing this recipe. You will also need to prepare a bottle of vinegar and place it close by. Any equipment used for soap making should not be used for any other purpose.
