Peppermint Mocha Candle Kit

Clean and sanitize your work area as well as your packaging.  When melting your candle wax, we recommend using a double boiler.  Add a few inches of water to your pot and place it on the stovetop on medium heat.  When melting the wax, place your pouring pot inside this pot.

1. Prepare your red candle wax.  Weigh out 120 grams of the Pillar of Bliss Candle Wax.  Place it in your pouring pot.  Using a double boiler, melt the wax to 195F.  Remove it from the heat.'
2. Add 2-3 drops of the red Nature Friendly Liquid Candle Dye.  Stir.
3. When the temperature has dropped to 180F, add 12 grams of the Peppermint Mocha Fragrance Oil.  Stir.
4. When the temperature drops to 150F, pour the melted wax into your silicone shot glass mold dividing it equally between the 8 cavities.
5. Once the wax has set up, prepare the white wax.  Weigh out 120 grams of the Pillar of Bliss Candle Wax.  Place it in your pouring pot.  Using a double boiler, melt the wax to 195F.  Remove it from the heat.
6. When the temperature has dropped to 180F, add 12 grams of the Peppermint Mocha Fragrance Oil.  Stir.
7. When the temperature drops to 150F, pour the melted wax into your silicone shot glass mold dividing it equally between the 8 cavities.  Allow the wax to set up.
8. Repeat the previous steps to create a second red layer in the same manner you created the previous layer.  Then, prepare a second white layer and a final third red layer. 
9. Allow the candles to completely set up before removing them from the mold.
10. Place a wick in the center of each layered candle.
11. Weigh out 200 grams of the Pillar of Bliss Candle Wax.  Place it in your pouring pot.  Using a double boiler, melt the wax to 195F.  Remove it from the heat.
12. Add one drop of the brown Nature Friendly Liquid Candle Dye.  If you would like a darker color, you can add more until you achieve a color you are happy with.  Stir.
13. When the temperature has dropped to 180F, add 20 grams of the Peppermint Mocha Fragrance Oil.  Stir.
14. When the temperature drops to 150F, pour the melted wax into the center of each of the layered candles you created dividing it equally between the 8 cavities.
15. Center and secure your wicks and allow the candles to set up.
16. Allow the candles to cure and trim your wicks before burning.
