Reviewer: from Grass Valley, CA

I have used the oatmeal soap base for quite awhile now. It melts perfectly, it sets up well, it realeases from my silicone mold like a charm, it lathers well and rinses off completely. I make two layers. I add rose clay (which has it's own set of benefits to the skin) to the bottom layer and add ground oatmeal to the top layer. It both lightly exfoliates and moisturizes. I add different oils to the base for extra moisturizing and it turns out amazing. Everyone loves it...even my husband!

5 OATMEAL Melt and Pour SOAP

Reviewer: from Cincinnati, OH US

Its a good, gentle soap. Its very basic....has oat extract without the annoying oat can put that in there if you want, you can color it or scent it with a vanilla base fragrance to get a tan or brown....but if you want gentle...for extremely sensitive skin...this is the one. want to use a silicone mold or superfat it or use cookiing spray or a lining...this soap sets up quite solid and can be a bear to unmold if you don't.

Had no issues unmolding this base & soaps turned out really pretty and smelled nice with the fragrance I used. Yes the base is white but that wasn't a problem for me in the end. I liked how the soaps turned out. Very nice base to work with.

Great base

5 OATMEAL Melt and Pour SOAP

Reviewer: from Raleigh, NC US

I almost didn't get this because of the reviews, this was my first time ever making soap. If you spray your mold with cooking spray like they tell you to, it will unmold pretty easily. Oatmeal extract is clear, so no it will not naturally be a tan base, add oatmeal to it and it will give it an oatmeal color, at least mine did. I used the oatmeal, milk, and honey FO and added ground oatmeal (not the quick cooking kind), and it made a beautiful bar of soap that is very moisturizing, lathers beautifully, and provided nice exfoliation with the addition of oatmeal.

Cannot unmold

2 OATMEAL Melt and Pour SOAP

Reviewer: from Forty Fort, PA US

This is the first product that I was complelety unsatisfied with from NG. First, to my surpise, the soap was white, with no tan color or oatmeal bits in it. Which is doesn't say it does. However the picture is deceiving because it shows a tan bar. Second, I couldn't unmold. I did all they told me to, but I finally had to break my expensive mold to get it out. Very disappointed with this purchase NG. They should show a white bar, on the pic.
