This product is added to candles to help prevent discoloration or fading from the SUN. The colors which have the tendency to discolor are: Blue, burgundy, violet (all any combination of these colors). Add 1/8 tsp UV light inhibitor per 1 lb. wax.

When measured correctly to per pound of wax, this additive can become a helpful ingredient when making candles/tarts and for the money making hobbyist of such type interested in selling to stores. The UV Light Inhibitor aides in protecting it from discoloration when put in direct sunlight and help prolong shelf life. Plus, it's a peace of mind for home based business owners that their products are long lasting.
