Disclaimer: The following ingredients have been provided by our manufacturer. We have not had these ingredients confirmed by an independent lab due to the fact that having reverse engineering done for each soap and every batch of soap we buy from the manufacturer would be far too cost prohibitive for our small company. Natures Garden does not manufacturer or label our melt and pour soap bases; our manufacturer does this. Our soap bases are manufactured in a facility that also manufactures melt and pour soap bases that contain propylene glycol. It is a possibility that our bases, whether listed on the label or not, contain propylene glycol. The process of making melt and pour soap is proprietary information that only the manufacturer knows. All of the soaps listed below are considered "SOAP", and are regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. Our manufacturer is under no obligation to provide an ingredient listing for "soap", but he did so as a courtesy to our customers. As long as you do not make any claims besides these soap bases being "soap", you are not required to list the ingredients on your labels. For "soap" (not cosmetics), the Consumer Product Safety Commission mandates that the following information be listed on your label:

  1. Text on the package that identifies the product as "Soap"
  2. Name and address of your business
  3. Net weight of product

I love so many products from this company, however this melt and pour base didnt cut it. It didnt melt well, kept forming a skin and was goopy most of the time. Stirring and adding fragrance and color to it I had to pour fast as it was still clumping and thick. Didnt like this product at all.

I use Natures Garden goat milk base for all of my soap making. It lathers beautifully, lasts, doesn't sweat, and produces a high quality bar of soap that I can be proud of. You cannot go wrong with this base.

Goat milk soap is customer's favorite. I use goats milk soap in my soap cupcakes and my soap rolls. It is so easy to work with and stays fluid, giving me plenty of time to work.

Sadly disappointed in this melt and pour, couldn't get it to melt without a skin forming, tried to use in the whipped soap and it set so quickly I barely hard time to work with it. I could not get the color mixed completely because clumps formed.

My sons use this goat's milk MP soap without any scent added on their faces to prevent acne. Both of my sons were acne free after using this soap for about a month. I highly recommend it!

Wonderful Review rating is 5 stars

Melts wonderful. Hint for those with problems keeping it melted: use large pot and a medium 2cup glass measuring cup or larger to suit your needs. Add water to pot and set in medium heat on stove. Microwave soap in measuring cup till heated, then place measuring cup in heated water. This will keep it warm while you add other products. When adding powder color, mix powder in an oil first than add to soap. This helps the powder mix correctly. I use organic coconut oil and stir in my (spinach, hibiscus, etc.) powders in the oil, then add it to my soap.

YUK!!!! Review rating is 1 stars

1 GOAT'S MILK Melt and Pour SOAP

Reviewer: from Louisiana

This has got to be the worst brand of M&P soap base that I have ever used!! After heating it exactly as directed....it's just a big lumpy, slimy ball of yuk!!! If you over-heat it, it works great, but then because it was too hot, it warped/ruined my molds.....WILL NOT BUY AGAIN!!!
