Yuzu Fragrance Oil

Yuzu Fragrance Oil

Yuzu Fragrance Oil

This fragrance oil by Natures Garden is most likely the most popular scent on the market.  Also referred to as Japanese Grapefruit, Yuzu is not your ordinary grapefruit scent.  Yuzu begins with top notes of mandarin, tangerine, lemon satsuma, and ruby red grapefruit, middle notes of bergamot, and base notes of oakmoss.   Yuzu can also be mixed with other tropical notes to create a very complex scent of your own.  Your line won't be complete without it!

So disappointed in this. It smells SO GOOD in the bottle but it absolutely disappeared in the cured soap.

Artificial and very strong Review rating is 3 stars

Performed perfectly but I can't bring myself to like the smell.

It just smells very artificial to me. Overly sweet and candy-like. I have that issue with all mandarine type scents, so I guess I just don't like the citrus fragrance that's being used in these types of scents.

Also to me, it's kind of overbearing after a while (it fills a room).

It's not a bad scent, though! Just not like the real thing and not my cup of tea.

Used in cold process soap. Soap is fully cured. It's a nice enough scent, however, after the cure it lost its punch. Smelling a lot like soap now. Would not buy again for cold process.

This was a dead ringer for pink grapefruit. Very nice fragrance. It was a touch light in 444 soy. Better cold throw than hot. I liked it so much am going to try it again in para soy. Nice and refreshing. Looking forward to round two!

Great in CP Review rating is 5 stars

This is a perfect performing FO that does not rice, and slows down trace! Super fluid swirls and great if you have a complicated design. Very strong OOB. Hasn't cured long yet so I don't know how it sticks, but I don't think I'll have a problem. It's a citrus scent that leans toward peachy notes and is very sweet.

Fresh citrus scent Review rating is 5 stars

This slightly reminds me of The Body Shop Satsuma, mixed with Grapefuit and Orange. Adore this, so fresh and uplifting. No petrol smell in my C3 soy wax, I used it at 9% and both hot and cold throw was good.

Nice citrus-y smell! Review rating is 5 stars

5 Yuzu Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from NY, NY

I really like this citrus smell. I've used it to make diffuser oil and candles and it has pretty decent throw in both. It's light, bright, and somewhere between orange and grapefruit. (I often like to pair it with another citrus smell like grapefruit to really bring out its notes.)

Love this fragrance!! Review rating is 5 stars

Reviewer: from New Brighton PA

I got a large bottle from a friend, it's my go to scent for soaps, when I want a light, fruity scent. This fragrance isn't overpowering, but It's not weak either. What I love about it, is that it has a great retention, so I don't have to use much, to get the strength that I want. In bath bombs, it's one of my best sellers! I also use it in my palm free, vegan soap and always sell out quickly!
