Other Ingredients & Equipment You'll Need: Mixing Bowl, Mixing Spoon, Stovetop, Pots (2), Hand Mixer, Spatula, Scale

Clean & Sanitize your work area and all of your packaging materials. It is suggested that you wear gloves, protective clothing, and a hair net while preparing this recipe.

Note: Prior to starting, clean and sanitize your work area as well as your packaging supplies. You will want to be sure you weigh all of the ingredients carefully. We do include a small amount of extra of each ingredient in case of spillage. In this kit, we have also included plenty of extra sweet almond oil for the jasmine infusion.

Prior to creating this recipe, we suggest creating a jasmine infusion for your salve. This step is totally optional. If you would like to add jasmine to your recipe, you will need to create an infusion using your sweet almond oil and dried jasmine flowers. We have included a mason jar to use for your infusion. If you have not created an infusion before, there are several ways that you can do this. You can find those methods here.
In a small pot, weigh out 58 grams of your sweet almond oil, 58 grams shea butter, 225 grams lanolin, and 58 grams white beeswax. Melt the wax using a double boiler. Stir occasionally as the ingredients are melting.
Once melted, remove the pot from the heat. Add the 5 grams vitamin E oil and 5 grams fragrance oil. Stir.
Pour the mixture into the tins and allow them to set up. Once set up, your salve is ready to use.
