Other Ingredients & Equipment You'll Need:
Measuring Spoon
Pot (for double boiler)
Total Recipe Amounts:
16 ounces Joy Wax
12 ounces Fractionated Coconut Oil
2.8 ounces Cancan Type Fragrance Oil
1 TBSP Diamond Dust Mica Pigment
1 drop Spectrum Liquid Candle Dye Burgundy

Step 1:  First, weigh out 16 ounces of the Joy Wax.  Melt the wax using a double boiler.
Step 2:  Add one drop of the burgundy candle colorant and stir.
Step 3:  Next, add 2.8 ounces of the NG Cancan Type Fragrance Oil.  Once again, stir to incorporate the candle scent.
Step 4:   To the melted wax, add 12 ounces of the fractionated coconut oil.  Stir to blend the ingredients together.
Step 5:  Finally, add 1 tablespoon of the Diamond Dust Mica and stir.
Step 6:  As the mixture begins to cool, it will thicken. Continue to stir periodically.
Step 7:  Pour the mixture into the 4 ounce jars and allow it to continue setting up.  Since you are using plastic jars, you want the temperature to be around 130 degrees Fahrenheit or lower when pouring.
Step 8:  Once your wax has completely setup, place a lid on each jar and allow the scoopable wax to cure for at least 48 hours before using.
Your scoopable wax is now ready to use!
