16 oz. Glass Apothecary Jar
Scale
Mixing Spoons
Hot Glue Gun
Pot (For Double Boiler)

Step 1:  Prepare the first caramel layer.  Weigh out and melt 100 grams of the 464 soy wax.  Once melted, add a small amount of a caramel color block to create a caramel color.  Stir to incorporate the colorant. You will use less than a gram of the color block.

Step 2:  While you are waiting for your candle wax to melt, adhere two CD 12 wicks to the bottle of your apothecary jar.

Step 3:  Once your soy wax has melted, add 10 grams of Natures Garden’s Pearamel Fragrance Oil.  Stir to blend the fragrance oil.

Step 4:  Place your candle jar in an area where it will not be disturbed as the candle is setting up.  Pour your candle wax into your apothecary jar. Since this is a layered candle, you need to use extra caution while  pouring. Pour slowly and directly into the center of the jar. This will keep your layers straight and even. Allow the candle wax to setup completely before moving on.

Step 5:  Prepare your first white layer.  Weigh out and melt 50 grams of the soy wax flakes.  Add a small amount of a white color block. Stir to incorporate the white candle colorant.

Step 6:  Next, add 5 grams of the Pearamel Fragrance Oil.  Stir to completely blend the candle scent.

Step 7:  Pour the white candle wax directly on top of the previous caramel layer.  Once again, pour slowly and directly into the center of the candle jar. Allow this layer to setup completely before moving on.

Step 8:  Prepare the green layer of candle wax.  Weigh out and melt 100 grams of the 464 soy wax.  Once melted, add a small amount of the olive color block.  Once again, you will use less than a gram. Stir to blend the colorant.

Step 9:  Add 10 grams of Pearamel Fragrance Oil.  Stir to incorporate the scent.

Step 10:  Pour the green candle wax into the candle jar.  Remember, pour slowly and in the center of the candle jar.  Allow the candle wax to completely setup before going to the next step.

Step 11:  Prepare the second white candle wax layer.  Weigh out and melt 50 grams of the 464 soy wax.  Once melted, add a small amount of a white color block.  Stir.

Step 12:  Add 5 grams of the Pearamel Fragrance Oil.  Once again, stir.

Step 13:  Pour the white candle wax into the candle jar.  It will be poured directly on top of the green layer.  Let the wax setup completely prior to preparing the next layer.

Step 14:  Prepare your second caramel layer.  Weigh out and melt 100 grams of the soy wax.  Once melted, add a small amount of a caramel color block.  You will use less than one gram of the block. Stir to blend the colorant.

Step 15:  Add 10 grams of the Pearamel Fragrance Oil.  Stir to completely incorporate the colorant.

Step 16:  Pour the caramel colored candle wax directly on top of the white layer.  Allow this layer to setup before moving going to the next step..

Step 17:  Prepare the whipped soy wax.  Weigh out and melt 200 grams of the soy wax.  Then, add 20 grams of the Pearamel Fragrance Oil.  Stir to incorporate the fragrance oil.

Step 18:  Let the candle wax thicken slightly to a slushy like consistency.  Then, use a spoon to whip the wax until you have a fluffy frosting like consistency.  Place the whipped wax on top of the caramel layer.

Step 19:  Finally, melt 10 grams of the soy wax and add a small amount of a caramel color block.  Once your wax has a nice caramel color, drizzle it on top of the whipped wax.

Step 20:  Lastly, allow the candle to setup and cure before trimming the wicks.

Once cured, trim your wicks and your Pearamel Candle will be ready to burn. Enjoy!
