Other Ingredients & Equipment You'll Need:
Mixing Spoon
Scale
Pot (for double boiler)
Toothpick

Step 1:  Prepare your molds.  You will need both the 3 x 4.5 inch and the 3 x 6.5 inch round pillar mold.  Place a CD wick through the hole in the bottom of each of the molds.  Then, you can place a plug in the bottom of the mold.  Alternatively, you can use hot glue to completely seal the hole.

Step 2:  Now, weigh out and melt 40 ounces of Palm Pillar Wax.  Melt the wax to 210F  using a double boiler.

Step 3:  Once melted, use a toothpick to add a very small amount of the red liquid candle dye.  Stir.

Step 4:  Now, add 4 ounces of the Carnation Fragrance Oil.  Once again, stir.

Step 5:  Pour the wax into the molds leaving about ½” in the event that a second pour is needed.

Step 6:  When the wax has setup, but is still warm, poke relief holes.

Step 7:  Reheat the remaining wax to 210F and pour it into the molds.

Step 8:  Once the candles have setup, remove them from the molds and trim the wicks.

Your palm pillar candles are ready to use!  Enjoy!
