Fragrance Testing -Performance in Various Applications-  Lilac Wholesale Fragrance Oil:  Note: Our testing notes should never take the place of your own personal testing.  Always test fragrance in all applications.  We do not take responsibility for our test results differing from your test results.  Natures Garden is not responsible for any finished products made with our raw ingredients.  Cold process soap testing was done by our staff using strict controls. Stick blenders can help to incorporate fragrance back into the soap in the event that it rices during the mixing process. Soaping at room temperature can help to reduce the likelihood of accelerated trace.  Fragrances containing vanilla ingredients may discolor soap. Vanilla White Color stabilizer may help prevent discoloration due to vanilla.  However, there are more than 40 ingredients used in fragrance manufacturing that may contribute to discoloration of products.

Lilacs are my favorite flower, and this scent is dead on. Everyone agrees that is a great lilac. Very strong, but doesnt give me that overpowering headache so many scents do OTB.

Perfection!

5 Lilac Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from Carver, Massachusetts, US

I used this in 464 and it smelled so lovely both hot and cold throw. It is a strong scent that is true to a lilac smell. I grew up with Lilacs outside my window and this really just smells spot on. I get this once a year usually because my customers love it! It's one of those fragrances you don't even have to light to smell the candle.

Lovely, not for beginners in CP

5 Lilac Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from Medford, NJ

This is an amazing lilac! Like most florals, tricky in CP. Soap at room temperature, use a little more than recommended, anchor using clay, add - hand stirring at thin trace. It will be light but experiment. I will try in HP. Florals are so hard to work with in CP. A batch of bath bombs was amazing.

Accelerates in CP

4 Lilac Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from Denver, CO

Smells amazing but made my CP soap accelerate like crazy. I only had a mild water discount and it went to Play-Doh texture in about 1 minute. I added it at thin trace.

Perfect Lilac scent!

5 Lilac Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from Monroe, Michigan

I'm not a fan of LILAC personally, smells like an older lady scent to me. HOWEVER, it is DEAD on for what it is supposed to be and one of my customers who said her mom ALWAYS buys Lilac candle was in LOVE with this one! Strong hot and cold throw in my 464 soy wax at 6%

Lovely scent, but...

5 Lilac Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from Chesapeake, VA

I used this FO today. The scent is lovely but it accelerated so fast, I barely got it into the mold! I tend to use the stick blender a bit too long, so I purposely went for a thin trace so I could swirl. A little disappointed, but I'll definitely give it another try.

Nope. Just Nope.

I am very disappointed in this fragrance. It smells nothing like lilacs, more like magnolia or narcissis blossoms, which I detest. It also accelerated trace on me, and thankfully, the scent faded quickly during the cure. Won't be buying this one ever again. Shame, really. There are plenty of NG fragrances I love - just not this one.

Worked well for me in CP

4 Lilac Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from Ohio

I was really nervous going into my batch of CP with this one because of the reviews. Despite the other soapers' words of caution, I still used a mild water reduction (water = lye x 2) and soaped in the mid 90's (Farenheit). I was doing a layered batch and only fragranced each color as I needed it. It did accelerate but mildly, but I was ready and the soap was layered so I was fine...Phew! It smells pretty good, and was not over powering at 5% PPO. We'll see how this cures! I am nervous about the discoloring. I'll try to follow-up in 6 weeks! :)

Smells so good but....

2 Lilac Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from California

This lilac fragrance smells so amazing it happens to be one of my favorite fragrances but it riced so quickly I had to move fast fast fast just to keep it smooth. I wish I could say that I would be reordering this again and again but sadly I won't be, sorry.
