I wanted to try this since I love Lavender essential oil. Out of the bottle it smells more floral than lavender. While that was disappointing, I knew I could market my soaps as floral instead. I made my cold process goat milk soap with this scent soaping at low temps. 48 hours later my soap smelled like cat urine...very ammonia like. I had to remove it from my soaping area as the smell was so overwhelming. I let it cure now for two months and the ammonia scent is still prevalent. I can not sell this soap and I will be discarding the remainder of the fragrance oil. Very disappointed as I have enjoyed many other NG fragrance oils.

It took me a little bit to realize what this smells like, but it finally dawned on me. This scent, when cured smells just like old school Aqua Net hairspray.
OOB it is STRONG. My entire studio smelled like Lavender Flowers for a week. It mellowed in the CP soap after a week or two and has so far held a strong scent retention.

I used this FO in cold process soap. It does not smell like lavender. It's a fresh, slightly sweet scent somewhat reminiscent of bathroom cleaner.

What a GREAT scent for CP soap!!! It was a very pleasant scent to work with, and the scent is spot on, in our opinion! Our soap characteristics: 40% olive oil, 28% coconut oil, 28% RSPO palm oil, 4% castor oil, menthol crystals (2%), aloe juice, and whole cream. Drop swirl, 30% water discount, soaped at room temp, no ricing, MILD acceleration, no separation, no excessive heat, great working time. Smells WONDERFUL!!! Cured bars will weigh 7+ ounces each. If you've never added menthol crystals to your lavender soap, I HIGHLY recommend it!!!

This was just too phony for my taste and my customers either really liked it or wrinkled their noses and so found it too unreliable. Used in cp soap and I usually love lavender! Disappointed!

OMG!!! ACCELLERATION SO BAD!!! Review rating is 2 stars

Ok I tried this and it pretty much turned into soap in a bowl. I barely got it in the mold and I know theres alot of air bubbles even thou I BANGED IT INTO THE FLOOR ALOT and I barely did any stick blending at all. And this was for cold process soap. Maybe I should try a different recipe or something. Don't worry I don't give up, I'll find a way for it to work for me in the future HOPEFULLY!!!

This is not a true lavender scent. It smells like powdery, floraly, sickly sweet bath oil or syrup. I added some dirt to try give it a more real scent, and it's just gross.

I made a test candle with it, and I can't stand the scent.

On the other hand, the cold throw is crazy good in soy wax, and it perfumes a large area with just a tiny candle.

I just can't stand the smell.

I won't even try this in CP.

I was wanting to enhance the scent of my natural lavender essential oil soap. I was looking for a true lavender scent. This didn't smell true out of the bottle, but after soaping and curing for 4 weeks the scent has developed nicely and my customers love it. No problems working with the scent.

This scent reminds me of some shampoo in the 1970s. A slight acceleration in CP soap.
Does not smell like lavender. I wouldn't recommend it, sadly.
