5 Fresh Cut Roses Fragrance Oil

I purchased this fragrance oil to fill a request from a friend that wanted rose scented soaps. I was making a batch of soap for Halloween using activated charcoal to make a solid black bar and accidentally grabbed this fragrance instead of the candy scented fragrance I meant to use and didn't notice until after I poured it in... I decided to make the best of my mistake and finished the soap then labeled it as "Black Roses" and sold it as a novelty and it was a huge hit, I sold all of the soap in one day. I will re-order to make the soap my friend requested, but this really turned out to be a nice rose scent that wasn't overpowering. I usually don't like floral scents, especially rose, but this one is quite nice.

Smells Lovely, Accelerates Review rating is 4 stars

Reviewer: from Saint Louis, MO

I bought this to make rose scented soap for my cousin's bridal shower. The fragrance absolutely fits the bill, but it did accelerate to the point that I was doing a bit of a plop-and-pray routine. I didn't notice any ricing or separating, just the acceleration. I definitely wouldn't recommend this for swirls or anything detailed, but it smells lovely so if you're looking for a strong, true rose scent then this is the one!

Smells wonderful, behaved beautifully Review rating is 5 stars

So, I read a lot of reviews regarding using this fragrance in CP soap, and I noticed a lot of reviewers stating that this fragrance accelerated trace, so I was ready for that. To my surprise, this fragrance behaved beautifully! I used approx 45% hard oil (coconut, palm, lard) and the rest liquid oils, and I used this fragrance at 3%. I only used the stick blender briefly. However, I did not have any trouble with ricing or acceleration of trace. The fragrance is amazing, and I will definitely be making more CP soap with this fragrance!

Not My Rose Review rating is 2 stars

2 Fresh Cut Roses Fragrance Oil

The green notes seem very prominent to me and they give the scent a slightly sickening touch, in my opinion. I am reminded of liquid flower fertilizer in tulip water...
The FO did, however, perform perfectly and scent retention is strong.

Fresh cut Rose fragrance oil performance Review rating is 5 stars

Lye temperature and oils were 94 degrees. We used titanium dioxide for white coloring in a 2 pound loaf mold. My soap batter was very quick to trace before adding fresh cut roses. Since I wanted the soap to thicken I stick blended the fragrance instead of manually mixing the batter. Fresh cut roses is very fragrant. I have used it on other soaps. Retention of the scent is well. I will reuse this fragrance again.

I am extremely disappointed in NG with this soap. It states that it doesn’t rice or accelerates and it does x100. With in 6 minutes I had lumpy soap on a stick. I soap at 72 degrees.
