Step 1:  Start by preparing your lye solution.  Allow it to cool to room temperature.  Note: Always add the sodium hydroxide to your water.  Never add your water to the sodium hydroxide.

Step 2:  While you are waiting for your lye water to cool down, prepare your oils.  Weigh out and melt your soaping oils.  Allow the oils to come to room temperature.

Step 3:  While waiting for the lye water and oils to cool to room temperature, prepare your colorants for the CP soap.  You will need to prepare colorants for the white soap, lime green soap, yellow green soap, and neon green soap as listed above.  You will need a total of 5 squeeze bottles.  The colorants should be added directly to the squeeze bottles.  When creating the white colorant, you will need to create two bottles.

Step 4:  Once both the lye solution and the oils have dropped to room temperature, use a stick blender to emulsify.  Then, add the Cucumber and Melons Fragrance Oil.  Once again, stick blend to incorporate the fragrance oil.

Step 5:  Now, separate your batter.  Fill each of the bottles you prepared with soap batter.  Then, place the lid securely in place shake the bottle.  While you are shaking the bottle, use your finger to keep the lid in place.

Step 6:  Next, once the colorants are fully mixed, remove the lids from each bottle and place the mold in front of you.

Step 7:  With your soap mold in front of you, begin filling the mold.  So, beginning with the yellow green batter, place small dots of soap batter randomly throughout the soap mold.  Then, place white dot of soap batter directly on top of the yellow green soap batter.

Step 8:  Now, place lime green dots in some of the empty places throughout the mold.  Then, place white dots directly on top of the lime green dots.

Step 9:  Do the same with the neon green.  Then, place white dots of soap batter on top of the  neon green batter.

Step 10:  Repeat steps 7 through 10.  Until you have used all of your soap batters and your soap mold is completely full.

Step 11:  After 24-48 hours you can remove the soap from the mold.  Slice your soap using the lines created by the soap mold.  Allow the soap to cure for 4-6 weeks before using.

Your Cucumber Melon Soap is now ready for use!  Enjoy!
