TOP SELLING VANILLA FRAGRANCE {just watch your pour temp}

5 Christmas Cookies Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from Northern Illinois

HOLY VANILLA! So for the last 2 years, THIS has been our top selling "vanilla" fragrance. During the regular months, we call it, "Vanilla Buttercream" and during the holidays, we call it, "Christmas Cookies". We have used over 100 fragrances from NG and this is one of those fragrances that you have to be very delicate with. Especially when using in 100% soy candles & melts. After many failed attempts, I have come to the conclusion that you cannot pour at more than 140 degrees otherwise you will burn the fragrance right out of this one. Even pouring at around 150 degrees burns most of the fragrance off. Once it was fully cured, I could smell mostly the soy and very little fragrance. Because of such a low pour temp, we have no choice but to pour in smaller batches and work quickly with this one....but it is totally worth it. {side note: we use 1.5 ounces of FO per 11 ounces of soy when using this FO} This is always our top selling vanilla fragrance, it is one of my own personal faves as well. :)

Great in cream

turns a dark brown in CP soap, not surprising, no ricing, no acceleration. Staying power depends on the recipe, in a high olive oil soap in didnt hold, although in a high coconut oil soap it had great staying power.
Used it in body cream, and i cant seem to keep it on the shelves. Will probably only keep it for my skin care range.

I wanted a cookie scent for Christmas and lo and behold..Christmas Cookie! I got a sample and made a test candle with GB464 and a CD16 wick in a pint jar. I burned it last night after a three day cure and it smelled fantastic. I'm sure after a week it will smell even I want a cookie :)

This is one of my personal favorites. It has strong buttery notes and smells good enough to eat. It's strong in soy wax at 7%. This is one I am keeping for next Christmas season.

3 Christmas Cookies Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from WA

Because of the reviews and notes saying it works well in wax melts I got excited about this one! But Sadly I got absolutely no scent at all. No throw, couldn't smell a thing. I'm hoping NG can help me on this! I used 100% Soy Wax, melted on double boiler slowly. Heated it to 185 and added the fragrance in at about 180. Poured it when very slushy. What did I do wrong?

Out of the bottle, i dont really like this FO, but in a Candle it is amazing. I would make these all year long. Everyone that has gotten one absolutely loves the fragrance and wants more. The throw is very good and it is not too potent but it is a strong aroma.
