Need:
Glass Measuring Cup
Stirring Spoon
Stove
Knife
Step1: Lay both
of your basic square molds on a flat
surface where they will not be disturbed.
Step
2: Get
your 6 votive
wick pins and place one in the
center of each mold opening.
Prepare
the Graham Cracker layers:
Step
3: Using
the double boiler method, melt 1 cup of Pillar of Bliss Wax. Once the melted wax reaches 195 degrees
Fahrenheit, remove from heat.
Step 4: Once
all the wax has melted, quickly add 1 very small chip of the following color
block dyes- brown, orange, and yellow.
Stir to incorporate throughout melted wax.
Step
5: Let
the temperature of the melted and colored wax drop to 180 degrees. Then, add 1/2
ounce of Graham Crackers Fragrance
Oil. Stir gently.
Step
6: Allow
wax to cool to 160F and carefully
pour a 1/4 inch layer of melted wax
into all (6) of your mold cavities.
Allow this wax to completely set up,
remove from molds, remove wick pins, and set aside. Please Note: For
every smore
candle that you are creating, you will need (2) graham cracker layers- one for
the top, and one for the bottom.
Prepare
the Chocolate layer:
Step7: Lay
one of your basic square molds on a flat
surface where they will not be disturbed.
Step 8: Get
3 votive wick pins and place one in the
center of each mold opening.
Step 9: Using the
double boiler method, melt 1/2 cup of Pillar of Bliss Wax. Once the melted wax reaches 195 degrees
Fahrenheit, remove from heat.
Step 10: Next,
add about 1/8 of your brown color block dye to the melted wax. Stir well.
Step 11: Let
the temperature of the melted and colored wax drop to 180 degrees. Then, add 1/4
ounce of Chocolate Fudge Fragrance
Oil. Stir gently.
Step 12: Allow wax to cool to 160F and carefully pour a 1/4 inch layer of melted wax into
your square mold cavities. Allow this wax to completely set
up, remove from molds,
remove wick pins, and
set aside. Please Note:
By the end of this step, you should
have (3) chocolate layers.
Side
Note: Place
any remaining chocolate wax aside, you will want to save a small amount for
connecting the smores together
and for decorating.
Prepare the Marshmallow layer:
Step13:
Lay one of your basic square molds
on a flat surface where they will not be disturbed.
Step 14: Get
3 votive wick pins and place one in the center of each mold opening.
Step 15: Using
the double boiler method, melt 1 1/2 cups of Pillar
of Bliss Wax. Once the melted wax reaches 195 degrees
Fahrenheit, remove from heat.
Step 16:
Let the temperature of the melted
wax drop to 180 degrees. Then, add 3/4 ounce
of Toasted Marshmallow Fragrance Oil.
Stir gently.
Step 17: Allow
wax to cool to 160F and carefully pour a 3/4
inch layer of melted wax into your
square mold cavities. Allow this wax to completely set up, remove from molds, remove wick pins, and set aside. Please Note: By
the end of this step, you should have (3) marshmallow
layers.
Side
Note: Place
any remaining marshmallow wax aside, you will want to save a small amount for
connecting the smores together.
Making
the Smore:
Step 18: Place
any remaining chocolate and marshmallow wax back onto heat
source for remelting.
Step 19: Using
one of your CD10 wicks, thread it through one of the graham cracker
layers. Apply a small amount of melted
chocolate wax on top, then thread chocolate layer. Apply another small amount of melted
chocolate wax again on top, and thread marshmallow layer. Next, apply small amount of melted
marshmallow wax on top, and thread second graham cracker layer.
Step 20: Repeat
step 19 for other 2 smores.
