What Does Vanilla Insanity Fragrance Oil Smell Like?

Vanilla Insanity Fragrance Oil from Nature’s Garden is definitely a scent for those who are in love with the aroma of vanilla.  Top notes of french vanilla and whipped cream butter are followed by middle notes of cotton candy, chestnuts, and maple sugar.  A drydown of vanilla beans rounds off this insanely potent vanilla fragrance!

How Do Our Customers Use Vanilla Insanity Fragrance Oil in Bath and Body Products?

Our customers go absolutely crazy for bath and body products that incorporate this scent!  Bath bombs, gels, and oils perform nicely when the maximum recommendation of 5% fragrance oil is added.   Handmade perfumes perform well with this fragrance when a maximum of 5% fragrance oil is used.  Homemade lotions can be created using Vanilla Insanity Fragrance Oil.  We recommend lotion recipes use no more than 5% fragrance oil.  Homemade cleaning recipes can also be created using a maximum of 5%.

Vanilla Insanity Fragrance Oil from Nature’s Garden has the potential to make you a little batty, so be make sure you have plenty of this scent on hand!   Soapmakers can use 5% fragrance oil in hot process soap, melt and pour soap, or cold process soap recipes.  Our cold process soap testing results show that soaps made with this fragrance have a light scent retention.  There was no ricing.  Separation happens but is reabsorbed.  This fragrance did not accelerate trace.  Cured soap discolored to a brown color.  This discoloration is contributed to by the 8% vanillin content in this fragrance oil.  This discoloration can be minimized by using Vanilla White Color Stabilizer in your cold process soap recipe.  There are several other ingredients that cause discoloration, however, so incorporating this product may not stop discoloration entirely.

How Do Our Customers Use Vanilla Insanity Fragrance Oil in Room Scenting Products?

You’ll be avidly searching for the source of this incredible scent when used in room scenting products.  Those creating homemade air fresheners can incorporate up to 50% of this fragrance oil in their projects.  You can use this shimmering fragrance oil in incense and smelly jelly recipes.  This fragrance oil was also found to create strongly scented aroma beads.  Finally, candles and wax tarts can be made using up to 10% fragrance with vegetable and paraffin wax.  It does nicely in Joy Wax, Wow Wax, and even Pillar of Bliss.  We do not recommend a colorant when using this fragrance.  However, if you wish to color your candles or tarts, you may us liquid candle dye or shredded color blocks.  Do not use crayons to color your candles as they will clog your wick.

Soapmakers can use 5% fragrance oil in hot process soap, melt and pour soap, or cold process soap recipes.  Our cold process soap testing results show that this fragrance oil does not cause acceleration or ricing!  There was separation but it was reabsorbed.  Cured soap discolored to a dark yellow-orange and maintained a good scent retention.  This fragrance has a 2% vanillin content, which can contribute to the discoloration of cured soap.  You may use Vanilla White Color Stabilizer in your soap recipe, but be advised that this may not completely prevent soap discoloration as it only stabilizes the effects of vanillin.  We do not recommend a soap colorant when using this fragrance.  However, if you wish to color your soap, we recommend using liquid soap dye in the amount that satisfies you.
