Beer Fragrance Oil

Beer Fragrance Oil

Beer Fragrance Oil

Throughout the history of Natures Garden, this fragrance oil was probably the most difficult scent for our perfumist to create.  There were actually a total of 4 different perfumists who attempted to create a good beer scent for us.  We did not want a stale-smelling beer scent, and we did not want a beer scent that had floral notes; like so many we have tested.  In this truly unique fragrance, the perfumist combined the aroma of malt liquor straight from the tap, and gave it a fruity twist.  He creatively combined notes of malt liquor and hops with fruity notes of strawberry, pineapple, apple, and raspberry.  CHEERS!!!  An NG Original Scent!   Please note:  It is best to use glass containers when making candles with this fragrance.  This fragrance may cause discoloration to occur in unlined metal containers.

Candles Use 4 drops of yellow plus 1 drop of brown liquid candle dye per 4 pounds of wax or shred a small amount of yellow and brown color block into your melted wax. Never use crayons to color your candles as they will clog your wick.
Bath/Body Products Use yellow & brown soap colorant in the amount that satisfies you. Never use candle dye in any body products.

Soaping at room temperature can help to reduce the likelihood of accelerated trace.  Fragrances containing vanilla ingredients may discolor soap. Vanilla White Color stabilizer may help prevent discoloration due to vanilla.  However, there are more than 40 ingredients used in fragrance manufacturing that may contribute to discoloration of products.

Perfect Novelty Scent Review rating is 5 stars

5 Beer Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from Iowa

This fragrance smells just like beer, which is perfect for novelty soaps. People get a kick out of it if you market it that way. If you are looking for a nice-smelling scent to complement your beer soap, this is not the fragrance for you. I can't believe people gave this FO poor reviews for smelling the way it's SUPPOSED to smell.

Smells just like beer! I really love this one, works well on it's own or as part of a blend. Holds up well during curing. Definitely accelerates though, so be prepared to move fast.

Pretty good smell Review rating is 4 stars

4 Beer Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from Pa

I'm giving this a 4 star only because I ordered two bottles at the same time and both bottles smelled different.
I'm making beer candles for a brewery. We started making these the middle of December. We made 26 so far and have sold every single one. We also took them to a brew event and sold those ones and have orders to make more.
The scent is good, people to
Love it.
My only thought is it could be a Lil less fruity and more HOPPY for micro brews.
Thank you for a good product.

Stale Beer Smell Review rating is 1 stars

1 Beer Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from Black River, NY

I ordered this scent at the suggestion of my husband since our soy candles and melts are sold in a beer store. The scent has a good cold/hot throw but it does not sell at all. We had it in the beer store for over six months without a single item selling. I have had many people describe it to me as smelling like the beer-soaked carpet of a dive bar. The scent is strong and not horrible but I have not met anyone yet that likes it.

I create craft beer candles and cold process soap. Both are scented with Nature's Garden's beer fragrance oil. They sell so well. I sell out every time I make them.

Great Scent Review rating is 5 stars

5 Beer Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from Adirondack Mtns, NY

I used this is cold-process soap and in liquid soap. In the bars, it did accelerate, but I've worked with worse fragrance oils. After an 8 week cure, the bars (which included real beer) had discolored to a nice tan color--just like beer. The scent was still strong.
In my liquid soap (where the fragrance is added to the diluted soap), the fragrance thickened the soap A LOT! I started at my normal 2% rate and ended up having to water-down the soap. In the end, I ended up with about 1.7% FO. It was strong--next time I'll probably start at 1.7% and thin the product out from there.
I sold both styles at an Oktoberfest and while opinions were mixed (most thought it smelled "just like beer"), I sold all but 2 bars--success!

I see there are mix reviews on this. I love this FO!, making beer soap is one of my favorites. I usually mix it with a bit of another masculine fragrance. I had no issues with ricing at all.

Beer Soap Review rating is 4 stars

4 Beer Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from MD

I love this smell oob as well as soaped. Only complaint that I have is that it ceased completely. This is the first time this has happened in my 4 yrs of soaping. Just read some other reviews that said the same thing. I have some more so I'm willing to give it another shot without actual beer. This fragrance moves very fast!
