Please Note:  If you haven’t made hp soap before, please review the Soap Making Safety class.  Prior to starting, put on your safety gloves, face mask, and safety glasses.

Step 1:  Weigh out the jojoba oil, argan oil, coconut oil 76, mango butter, cocoa butter, and mango butter.  Add these ingredients to your crock pot and melt them on a low setting.

Step 2:  While you are waiting for the oils to melt, prepare your lye solution.  Weigh out the distilled water.  To the distilled water, add the sodium hydroxide (lye).  Note:  Never add the water to the lye.  Always add the lye to the water.
Step 3:  Once your oils have melted, add the lye solution to the crock pot.  Use a stick blend to blend the ingredients.  Then, add the colorants  and mix again to bring the soap batter to trace.  Place your lid on the crock pot.

Step 4:  Allow the soap to cook.  You will need to stir the soap batter periodically so that it does not scorch.  It will need to cook for about an hour and a half.
Step 5:  You will know your soap is done when it has a mashed potatoes consistency.  At this time, add the fragrance oil and stir until it is evenly blended.
Step 6:  Next, move quickly to add the soap batter into your soap mold.  Tap the mold on your countertop.  This will help to release air bubbles in the soap.
Step 7:  Allow the soap to cool down and setup completely.  Remove the soap from the mold.  Then, slice the soap.
Your soap is now ready to use!  Keep in mind this will be a softer bar of soap.  If you would like you can allow it to harden for a couple weeks before using it!
