Balsam Fragrance Oil

Balsam Fragrance Oil

This fresh pine balsam aroma is great for Christmas time, or all year round. Use by itself, or for mixing creative new scents for your line.

Did you know? Balsam pines are most often grown in the northwestern parts of Ontario, Canada.  They can also be grown in some parts of the northern part of the Midwest.  This is due to the fact that balsam trees thrive and mature in a cooler summer climate.

Can't Smell This One Sadly

1 Balsam Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from North Myrtle Beach, SC

Had high expectations due to good reviews but sad to say this one is very faint in cold throw and almost non existent for hot, used in joy wax jar candles 1.5 oz per lb ratio per instructions... may be better for soaps than candles from my experience.

I am surprised this fragrance has great reviews. In parasoy wax, the smell of eucalyptus is so strong that I can barely make out any piney smell. It reminds me of the Sinus Relief oil. I planned on using it as a Christmas tree scent, but now I am not using it at all. Bummer!

Gorgeous Scent

5 Balsam Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from Stockton, CA

I was looking for a very nice pine smell for Christmas. I certainly found it with this scent. If you love woodsy smells, this is perfect. It smells exactly like balsam trees. It holds very strong in cp soap through cure. No morphing or fading after 4 weeks. Performs perfectly with no discoloration. Definitely one of my new staple scents.

Nice Xmas scent in cp soap

5 Balsam Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from Minneapolis, MN

Balsam is a very nice scent and did not discolor cp soap. Balsam and Cedar did discolor, so I'd recommend Balsam over Balsam and Cedar.

This is a beautiful spot on balsam. My husband loves it and it holds really well in cold process soap. It will speed up trace slightly but it is totally workable.

Perfectly Pine!!

5 Balsam Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from Pennsylvania

Most pine scents make me gag, and I hate pine cleansers, so when someone gave me a little pine candle several years ago I just stashed it away. Eventually I did get it out and burn it, and it was a wonderful perfect pine scent. Not "gaggy" like others. I searched to buy another and the $30 price tag stopped me cold. This year I decided to make my own!! It took more that 15 pine or pine blend scents to find this one. The perfect pine scent. This is the same as the expensive candle (to both my nose and my husband's) and it fills the house with the most lovely fresh pine scent, just like the Christmas trees did when I was a kid. Search no further. Out of the bottle it really isn't anything special, but it came to life in my parasoy blend wax!
