Agave Lime Fragrance Oil

This fragrance oil by Natures Garden is a shimmering citrus blend of high concentrations of the following essential oils:  lime, lemon, and orange creates an effervescent top note for this exotic scent, while accents of liquid ozone add a refreshing highlight.  Tropical floral notes and exotic agave greens balance at the heart of the fragrance.  Clear musk and rich sandalwood form a soft background for this highly textured scent.

Top Notes:  lime, lemon, orange, ozone
Mid Notes:  agave greens, hibiscus, plumeria
Base Notes:  musk, sandalwood

Here is an amazing Agave Lime Pie recipe that is sure to impress.  The recipe is a perfect sweet tangy treat for any time of the year, but especially in the spring and summertime.

Agave Lime Pie:
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 1/2 cups water
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
2 eggs, well beaten in a small bowl
1 cup fresh lime juice- strained
1 tablespoon finely grated lime rind
2/3 cup agave nectar
1 teaspoon powdered, unflavored gelatin dissolved in 1 1/2 tablespoons water

Whipped cream

Thinly sliced limes

9-inch prepared pie shell- we suggest graham cracker crust

Mix cornstarch to a paste with a small amount of the water.  Once the cornstarch is in paste form, add the rest of the water.  Place the mixture in a medium saucepan.  Stirring constantly with a wooden spoon, cook over low heat, until the mixture is thickened.  Slowly, stir in the butter.

Remove saucepan from heat and stir in the lime juice and zest.  To temper the eggs, whisk in a small amount of lime mixture.   Next, add the remaining eggs into lime mixture. Once again, stirring constantly on very low heat, return the saucepan and cook for about 5 minutes.  You are finished cooking and stirring once the mixture has thickened.  Remove saucepan from heat.  Mix in agave nectar first, then dissolve gelatin until well combined.  Let cool slightly, about 10 minutes.  Pour into pie shell and chill overnight.  Finalize with whipped cream and lime slices. Slice, eat, and enjoy!

Lovely scent, but Review rating is 4 stars

I loved this scent! Clean yet has an warm sweet amber in the background. The citrus pulls through after curing. However it did rice. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but I still couldn't blend it completely smooth. I ended up with a creamy yet lumpy bar soap. I think it's worth trying again and seeing if I can work the ricing out.

I was excited to use this fragrance based on all the reviews of how well it behaved. It smells amazing, but WOW did it go from zero to glop pretty much immediately on me. I use a lard-based recipe that is normally very slow to trace, and I soap at about 85-90 degrees. I used 1 oz for 34 ounces of oils. I had four colors ready to go and I basically had to Plop And Slam all the batter into the mold. Great scent but it's going to have to be a one-color soap for me from now on.

5 Agave Lime Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from Lafayette, IN USA

18 years ago I started perfume making with essential oils and I unfortunately didn’t write down a complex recipe for a men’s cologne and didn’t think anything of it until my friend tried a bottle, he would get stopped everywhere with people complementing him about it and I wasn’t able to recreate it, a a mistake I don’t repeat anymore for sure, this came yesterday and I almost cried! Scent can trigger memories and this was it! I’m making my friend a bottle of cologne and sending it to him, he will be so happy! Thank you NG!!

This fragrance is so fresh! I use this mainly in my bath bombs. My customers love it! I have, also, used this in CP soap. It behaved beautifully. No ac, no ricing, no discoloration, and the scent stays well past the cure. I will be buying this fragrance over and over again. Thanks NG!
