I used this leather fragrance oil in my hot process soap. It turned out perfectly! I used activated charcoal to color them naturally. They are exactly what I wanted. The scent is so strong and true, it's the perfect fragrance oil for my hp soap.

Never again

1 Leather Jacket Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from Houston

I have NEVER in almost 20 years of soaping had a scent behave so badly! I received this scent today, and since I already had a batch of soap planned, I decided this would be the perfect scent for it. Almost as soon as I added the fragrance, it began to rice and seize. It caused the soap to start gelling in the pot! As I tried stuffing it in the mold, all I could think was how much of a mess I was creating.

This is definitely NOT a keeper for me!

This seized on me big-time! I could barely get it into the mold. Sucks because I had such high hopes and plans for this fragrance in CP soap!

Best Leather I've found

5 Leather Jacket Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from Delaware

I've tried a lot of Leather FO and they usually have a "chemical" smell, but this one is true Leather and holds up really well in MP soaps.

Smells great but not good in CP soap

2 Leather Jacket Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from Bloomington, UN

Not good in CP soap. Ruined a whole 4lb batch of soap. I was making football soaps for my grandson and couldn't even get it in the mold before it riced and totally seized on me!! Very unhappy with this 4 oz bottle I just bought 2 days ago!! I know it's not my recipe because I have used this recipe a million times and this has only happened to me 1 other time when I used fragrance oils from Catalina....which I will never buy from again!!

Fast Mover But Worth It!

5 Leather Jacket Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from Oregon, USA

This is a dead on scent of black leather, very nice & sexy! Crystal Clear and no discoloration, but it moves fast! There is some serious acceleration in this puppy, so color 1st and dont plan much swirling.

new leather

You really need to make the candle with this in order to get the actual scent. Used in 464 soy and had the two candles I made from it sell instantly, it does smell like leather you just gotta try it. The bottle will smell like bleach or chlorine so dont judge by it.

Smells like chemicals

1 Leather Jacket Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from Naperville, Illinois US

I really don't like writing negative reviews, but I felt in this case I needed to. I was looking for a leather fragrance but I didn't expect it to smell like a chemical bath...even a lot like chlorine. I put it in a test batch made with palm, olive and coconut oils only, with a little titanium dioxide. I barely had time to get it into the mold after adding the fragrance and it looks rough and pebbly on top. It also turned pink. Of course my opinion is just my own but I suggest you try a sample first instead of investing in a larger bottle, like I did, and wasting money in the process.
