Other Ingredients & Equipment You'll Need:
Mini Cherries/Berries Mold (www.flexiblemolds.com)
Pots (for double boiler method)
Step 1: First, place one wick pin into the center of the two cavities of the Cupcake- Mold Market Mold.
Step 2: Prepare the base and blueberries: Weigh out and melt 250 grams of Pillar of Bliss Wax. Melt wax to 195 degrees, and add 2 drops of blue liquid candle dye and 2 drops of black liquid candle dye, and approximately 1/16 tsp UV Light Inhibitor.
Step 3: Drop melted wax temperature to 180 degrees and add 25 grams of Blueberry Muffin fragrance oil.
Step 4: Allow the wax temperature to drop to 140 degrees. Pour the melted wax into the two cavities of the Cupcakes Mold Market Mold and the Cherries/Berries Mold from www.flexiblemolds.com. Allow to setup.
Step 5: Next, weigh out and melt 250 grams of Joy Wax to 200 degrees. Using a toothpick, add both yellow and brown Spectrum Liquid Candle Dye. Allow the temperature to drop to 175 and add 25 grams of Blueberry Muffin fragrance oil.
Step 6: Once the fragrance oil has been stirred into the melted wax, begin to whip it with a whisk. Once the wax has cooled, thickened, and been whipped, begin scooping it into the top of the base of the muffins. You want to create the appearance of a muffin top.
Step 7: Now add the blueberries. Press the blueberries firmly into the wax.
Step 8: Allow your muffins to harden completely.
Step 9: Carefully, remove your Blueberry Muffin Candles from the mold. Remove wick pin. Thread wick through the hole.
Step 10: Trim your wick to 1/4 inch before burning.
We hope you enjoy your Blueberry Muffin Candle!
