Awesome spicy scent

Spicy scents aren't my favorite, but this Bay Rum smells great in our cold process soap, and I would actually use it. It didn't accelerate, and weeks later the scent is still strong.

Not what I was expecting

I used this in a chocolate rum recipe for soap and did not have one person like it. I tried the recipe with a normal blend and with a reduced amount, neither sold. There is just something about this Bay Rum scent that did not work well with. Testers thought it was an offensive odar. I'm going to try one more time, this time use it with a citrus scent and see.

A favorite with us!

We've actually been using this FO from NG for years. We used it initially in M&P and loved the scent. Now that we're making CP we find we sell out of it because everyone just loves it. It is a bit strong OOB and there is definitely a pine scent but it mellows out within 24 hours to a wonderful scent in our soaps and holds it's scent forever. We still have some M&P bars from years ago that smell just as wonderful today as they did when poured.

Reviewer: from Priest River, ID US

I am very disappointed in the FO. All the bayrum I've smelled in the past was spicy with some orange but all I smell from this one is pine needles. Not nice pine either but fake Christmas tree in a can type pine.

Used to scent CP rebatch and no one likes it. Most all the responses are Yuck!
