Prior to starting, prepare your mica pigments mixture for the unicorn horns. Measure out 15 grams of vegetable glycerin, 1 teaspoon of Diamond Dust mica and 1/2 teaspoon of 24K Gold mica. Mix these together thoroughly. We will use this later on. Also, prepare a bottle of rubbing alcohol.
Step 1: First, we are going to prepare the unicorn horns. Weigh out 240 grams of the Diamond Clear melt and pour soap base. Melt it in the microwave in 30 second increments. Once it is melted, add in 12 grams of Rainbow Fragrance Oil and stir.
Step 2: Take the mica mixture you prepared before starting and add it to the melted soap. Stir to fully incorporate. Pour this mixture into the unicorn horn molds. Spray with rubbing alcohol to remove any air bubbles.
Step 3: Allow the horns to set up and remove them from the molds. Set these aside until we need them in the last step.
Step 4: Next, you will need to take out six mixing bowls. Get out a slab of Diamond Clear melt and pour soap. Cut the cubes, add 155 grams of soap to each bowl.
Step 5: Using the microwave, melt the soap in the first bowl in 30 second increments until it is fully liquid. Stir to make sure there are no clumps left over.
Step 6: To the melted soap, add 7 grams of Rainbow fragrance oil and mix it in completely.
Step 7: Now, we will incorporate the colorant. To this first bowl, add in 5 drops of Neon Pink. Stir until the color is evenly dispersed. Take your soap loaf mold and pour this as the first layer. Spray with rubbing alcohol to remove any air bubbles.
Step 8: Repeat steps 2-4 with the remaining five bowls one at a time, pouring into the soap mold after the previous layer has set up. The order we used for our layers is Neon Pink, Neon Orange, Neon Yellow, Neon Green, Neon Blue, and Ultramarine Violet. Spray rubbing alcohol on each set up layer before pouring the next to ensure that the layers will adhere.
Step 9: Once each layer of the rainbow soap has set up, remove it from the mold and set it to the side.
Step 10: Now, we can prepare the whipped topping. Take out another mixing bowl and weigh 300 grams of the whipped soap base. Add to this 30 grams of vegetable glycerin and 30 grams of Rainbow Fragrance Oil. Use an electric hand mixer to combine all of the ingredients until it has a whipped consistency.
Step 11: Next, in a separate bowl, weigh out 300 grams of the Diamond Clear soap and melt it in the microwave in 30 second increments, stirring in between.
Step 12: Add the melted soap to the bowl containing the whipped soap base. Use the hand mixer once again until the mixture starts looking like whipped cream.
Step 13: Now, you can grab the layered soap loaf and spray the top with rubbing alcohol so that the whipped soap will adhere to it. Apply the whipped topping and place the unicorn horns on top. Sprinkle the soap with the diamond dust.
