Step 1: Start by preparing your lye water.  In a mixing bowl, place 345 grams of distilled water.  Add 125 grams of sodium hydroxide.  Note: Always add the sodium hydroxide to your water.  Never add your water to the sodium hydroxide.

Step 2: While you are waiting for your lye water to cool down, prepare your oils.  Melt 272 grams olive oil, 272 grams shea butter, 181 grams palm oil, and 181 grams of coconut oil 76.

Step 3: While waiting for the lye water and oils to cool to room temperature, prepare your colors.  You will need 3 mixing bowls.  In bowl one, place 4 drops of FUN Soap Colorant Neon Green.  In bowl two, 2 drops of FUN Soap Colorant Black Oxide.  In bowl three, weigh 30 grams of titanium dioxide and add a little bit of oil to it.  You want a paste like consistency. Set these aside for the moment.

Step 4: Once both the lye solution and the oils have dropped to around 72 degrees, use a stick blender to emulsify.

Step 5: Now, separate your batter.  Into the bowl containing the green colorant, add 308 grams of batter and 15 grams of Spearmint scent.  In the bowl containing the black colorant, add 308 grams of batter and 15 grams of Spearmint Fragrance Oil.  Stick blend.

Step 6: Add the titanium dioxide and 38 grams of Spearmint Fragrance Oil to the remaining batter and use a stick blender to incorporate.

Step 7: Next, separate the white soap batter.  A portion the white will be used to top your soap.  Place 308 grams of soap batter into a bowl.  This will be used for the swirl portion.  The leftover batter will be used for the topping, set this bowl aside for now.

Step 8: In an empty bowl, pour the white, green, and grey soap batter into their own section of the bowl.  It will look similar to a color wheel.

Step 9: Using a rubber spatula, begin swirling the soap.  Start by making a line right down the middle of the bowl.  The go in a circular motion throughout the bowl.

Step 10: Pour the swirled soap into a square loaf mold.

Step 11: You will now need the remaining white soap batter you set aside earlier.  Once it has thickened to a whipped frosting consistency, use it to top the soap that is already in the mold.  Use a rubber spatula to make it fluffy and give the frosting peaks.

Step 12: Once you are satisfied with your frosting, sprinkle just a touch of spearmint leaves.

Step 13: After 24-48 hours you can remove the soap from the mold.  Use the mitre box and mitre cutter to slice your soap.  Allow the soap to cure for 4-6 weeks before using.

Your Spearmint Soap is now ready for use!  Enjoy!
