Rainbow Bubble Bars Recipe

Recipe makes about 5 bubble bars.

Ingredients Found At Natures Garden:

Total Recipe Amounts:
430 grams Baking Soda
367 grams Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate
190 grams Cream of Tartar
63 grams Cornstarch
177 grams Vegetable Glycerin
21 grams Argan Oil
12 grams Breezes and Sunshine Fragrance Oil
12 grams Polysorbate 80

Clean and sanitize your workstation and all of your utensils. It is suggested that you wear gloves, an apron, a face mask, and a hair net while preparing this recipe.
Step 1:  First, we will prepare our dry ingredients. In a large mixing bowl, add your baking soda, sodium cocoyl isethionate, cream of tartar, and cornstarch.  Mix well, using your hands to break up any clumps.
Step 2:  Next, in a separate bowl, weigh out and mix your wet ingredients.  Blend the vegetable glycerin, argan oil, polysorbate 80, and Breezes and Sunshine Fragrance Oil.
Step 3:  Now, add your wet ingredients to the bowl containing the dry ingredients. Use your hands to mix the ingredients together.  Continue to mix until you have a dough consistency.  Note: If your dough is too crumbly, you can add a bit more vegetable glycerin.  However, be careful not to add too much or your dough will become too wet and will not set up properly.
Step 4:  Using the guide below, begin separating and coloring your dough.  The white dough will remain uncolored, just separate it.  After adding the color to the remaining portions of dough, use your hands to mix the dough and color completely.
White Dough:  530 grams uncolored dough
Red Dough:  195 grams dough and 15 drops red Da Bomb Soap Dye
Orange Dough:  175 grams dough, 6 drops yellow Da Bomb, and 6 drops red Da Bomb Soap Dye
Yellow Dough:  130 grams dough and 5 drops yellow Da Bomb Soap Dye
Green Dough:  105 grams dough, 3 drops yellow Da Bomb, and 3 drops blue Da Bomb Soap Dye
Blue Dough:  80 grams dough, 5 drops blue Da Bomb Soap Dye
Purple Dough:  50 grams dough, 8 drops red Da Bomb, and 3 drops blue Da Bomb Soap Dye
Step 5:  Begin forming the rainbows.  Begin with the red dough.  You will need 39 grams of the red dough.  Roll it out on your mat or parchment paper.  You will need to roll it into a snake shape that is about 6 inches in length.  Place it in front of you horizontally.  Then, roll out the orange dough in the same manner.  You will need 35 grams of the orange dough.  Create a slightly smaller snake shape this time that is about the same diameter as the red portion.  Place it right below the red potion, pressing it right against the red dough.  You want it to be centered to red dough.  Next, repeat this process with the remaining colors.  For the yellow portion, you will need 26 grams of the dough.  For the green portion, you will need 21 grams of the dough.  For the blue portion, you will need 16 grams of the blue dough.  Finally, for the purple portion, you will need 10 grams of the purple dough.  Repeat this process to create a total of five rainbows.
Step 6:  Create the clouds.  Each rainbow will have two clouds.  So, create a total of ten cloud shapes.  Each cloud should be 53 grams.  Place a cloud at each end of each rainbow.  Press it gently into place so that it bonds with the rainbow.
Step 7:  Now, simply let your bubble bars set up, completely hardening.  It took our bubble bars approximately 48-72 hours to set up completely.  However, it can take longer depending on the climate of your environment.
Your Rainbow Bubble Bars are now ready to use!  To use your rainbow bubble bars crumble the bubble bar under your warm running bath water.
