Other Ingredients & Equipment You'll Need:
Mixing Bowl
Mixing Spoon
Pots (for double boiler)

Total Recipe Weights:

26 grams White Beeswax
47 grams Coconut Oil 76
20 grams Shea Butter Unrefined
23 grams Cocoa Butter-Golden Natural (not deodorized)
5 grams Zinc Oxide Powder
1 gram Vitamin E Oil
20 drops Kahlua Flavoring Oil
3 Dark Chocolate Wafers

Step 1:  Sanitize your work area and all of your packaging materials. We suggest wearing gloves, a hair net, and a protective clothing while preparing this recipe.

Step 2:  Use a scale to weigh out 26 grams of beeswax, 47 grams of Coconut Oil 76, 20 grams of Shea Butter Unrefined, 23 grams of Cocoa Butter Golden Natural, and 1 gram of Vitamin E Oil.

Step 3:  Using a double boiler, melt the ingredients you weighed out. Pay close attention to the temperature, you do not want to let the oils to get too hot.

Step 4:  While you are melting the oils, use a separate bowl to weigh out 5 grams of Zinc Oxide Powder.

Step 5:  You also want to melt the chocolate. Do this in another separate bowl using a microwave.  You just need it to be melted, you do not want to overheat the chocolate.  This will be used for the coffee colored layer of the lip balm.  Set aside for a moment.

Step 6:  Remove the melted oils and butters from the heat.  Place 5 grams of Zinc Oxide Powder and 20 drops of Kahlua Flavoring Oil into the melted oils.  Stir well to incorporate.

Step 7:  For this step, you will need the chocolate you prepared in step 5.  Pour half of the melted oils into the bowl containing the melted chocolate. Set the remaining lip balm aside, for now. We will later use it for the top cream layer. Mix the chocolate portion well to fully disperse the chocolate.

Step 8:  Now, begin filling your lip balm pots.  You will need 18 of the 6 ml lip balm pots with white lids.

Step 9:  Use a disposable pipette to fill each pot about halfway with the chocolate colored lip balm.

Step 10:  Then, get the remaining white lip balm you set aside.  Again, using a disposable pipette, fill the rest of the lip balm pot with the white lip balm.

Step 11:  Once the lip balm has cooled, place a white lip on the jar.  Your Kahlua and Cream Lip Balm is now ready to use!  Enjoy!
