Step 1:  Prepare your lye solution.  Allow the lye solution to cool to room temperature.

Step 2:  While you are waiting for your lye solution to cool, prepare your soaping oils.  Once your oils are melted, allow them to cool to room temperature.

Step 3:  While you are waiting for your oils and lye solution to cool, prepare the colorants listed above.

Step 4:  When both the soaping oils and the lye solution are at room temperature, combine the lye solution with the soaping oils.  Next, stick blend the soap batter to emulsify the ingredients.  Next, add the NG Glacier Type Fragrance Oil.  Once again, stick blend your soap batter to incorporate the scent.

Step 5:  Begin dividing the soap batter.  Place one-half of the soap batter in one mixing bowl.  Divide the remaining soap batter into four equal portions.

Step 6:  To the larger bowl of soap batter, add the titanium dioxide.  To the remaining bowls, add one of the blue colorants listed above.  Use a stick blender to blend the contents of each bowl.

Step 7:  Place your mold in front of you.  Add most of the white soap batter to the mold.  You will want to keep about 2 ounces of the soap batter to top the soap in a later step.  Set this portion aside for later.

Step 8:  At this time, we will begin pouring blue soap batter.  First, pour the lightest color. Place the mold in front of you vertically.  Pour the blue soap batter in a line down the length of the mold.  Pour three of these lines.  One on the right side of the mold, one down the center, and one on the left side.  Set the remaining light blue batter aside.

Step 9:   Next, repeat the previous step with the medium blue color.  Pour the lines directly on top of the area where you poured the light blue batter.  Set the remaining batter aside.  Then, using the same process, pour the dark blue batter.  Continue to repeat this process until you have about two ounces of each color left.

Step 10:  Next, we will top the soap.  Pour a thin line of each color down the length of each mold.  Each line should be about ¾” wide.  First, pour a line of the darkest color on the left side of the mold.  Then, the medium shade right next to it.  Next, pour a white line.  Finally, pour the light blue line on the right side of the mold.

Step 11:  Using your toothpick, start in the upper right corner of your mold.  Begin making an “S” pattern until you reach the bottom left corner of the soap mold.
