150 grams of Citric
Acid
70 grams of Arrowroot Powder
32 grams of Dead Sea Salt
42 grams of Coconut Oil 76
23 grams of Distilled Water
2 grams of Raspberry Zinger Fragrance Oil
1 gram of Fun Soap Colorant Tomato Red
3 drops of Fun Soap Colorant Deep Purple
3 drops of Fun Soap Colorant Yellow Oxide
55 grams of Goats Milk Melt and Pour Soap
Clean your work area. Due to the fact that bath bombs react with water you will want to wear gloves while preparing
this recipe.
Step
1: Weigh out 55 grams of Goats Milk Melt and Pour
Soap. Using a cheese grater, finely
grate the white soap. Set
aside.
Step
2: In a mixing bowl, weigh out and place the baking soda,
arrowroot powder, and dead sea salt.
Then, weigh out and add the coconut oil 76 (in room temperature
form). Use your hands to break up any
clumps. Work the coconut oil 76 into the
mixture until you are able to accomplish a consistency similar to cookie dough.
Step
3: In a separate mixing bowl, weigh out and place the
distilled water and fragrance oil.
Step
4: Next, using your spatula transfer the wet ingredients
into the dry ingredients bowl. Begin
folding the mixture together. Once incorporated, weigh out and add the citric
acid. While mixing, remember to break up
any chunks.
Step
5: In a separate mixing bowl, weigh out and place 95 grams of the bath fizzy
mix. Set aside.
Step
6: To the emptied wet ingredients bowl, weigh out and add
200 grams of the bath fizzy mixture.
Next, add 3 drops of Fun Soap Colorant Yellow Oxide. Mix well to incorporate. Once evenly colored, form the fizzy mixture
into a ball. Then, set aside.
Step
7: In the remaining bowl, weigh out and place 1 gram of Fun
Soap Colorant Tomato Red
and 3 drops Fun Soap
Colorant Deep Purple. Once again using
your hands incorporate. When uniformly colored,
form another ball
with the mixture.
Step 8:
Next, tear out a
sheet of wax paper. Starting with the
pink ball, flatten the mixture out. Try to keep the shape rectangular. Then, repeat with the yellow. Once flattened, carefully place the yellow
layer on top of the pink. Finally, take
the white fizzy mixture and sprinkle it through the center of the yellow layer.
Step 9: Use the wax paper to roll the fizzy bath mixture. As you are rolling the mixture, keep removing
the wax paper from the mixture so it does not get wrapped into your bath fizzy. Once you have the pink layer completely
around the outside of the mixture, continue rolling to seal the fizzy mixture
within the wax paper. Allow this to set
for 10 minutes.
Step
10: After 10 minutes have elapsed, carefully open the wax
paper. Next, sprinkle the grated soap
onto the wax paper. Once again in the
same manner, roll the bath mixture making sure to move the wax paper as the
mixture rolls and attaches to the soap.
Then, continue rolling until the mixture is completely sealed in the wax
paper again. Allow to set for another 30
minutes.
Step 11: After 30 minutes, completely remove the bath fizzy from
the wax paper. Allow the fizzy to be
exposed to the air for at least 1 hour now.
Step
12: Using a knife, slice your fizzies. Further allow
your bath fizzies to dry and harden
overnight.
Your Raspberry Zinger Bath Fizzies are now ready to use.
Enjoy!
