Witch Hazel in a spray bottle
This
recipe is best prepared in non-humid climates.
Prior to making this recipe, pour some of your witch hazel into your
spray bottle in order to have this ready.
Step
1: Place your 4 bowls in your work area. One bowl will be for your dry ingredients,
one bowl for your wet ingredients, and two bowls for the colorant.
Step
2: The Dry Ingredients: In your dry mixing bowl weigh out and add the citric
acid, cornstarch, baking soda, and bentonite clay. If you notice any clumps, break them up in
your hands now. Mix well.
Step
3: The Wet Ingredients: In your wet mixing bowl weigh out and add the castor
oil, sweet almond oil, and cotton candy fragrance oil. Stir to incorporate.
Step
4: Next, grab your two empty bowls. To each bowl add 150 grams of the dry ingredient mixture. To the first bowl add the neon blue colorant,
to the second bowl add the neon pink.
Using your hands, incorporate the individual color throughout each
bowl.
Step
5: Now, in a drizzling manner add the wet ingredients bowl
to the remaining white dry ingredients.
Using your hands, mix the ingredients together until they are completely
incorporated.
Step
6: Lightly spritz the mixture with witch hazel. Mix the mixture. Continue spritzing with witch hazel until the mixture feels like crumbly
dough in your hands. Do not overspray.
Step 7: Next, add some of the of the pink and blue dry ingredients to the mixture. Rotate some of the white over the colors then
add the remaining pink and blue to the white.
Do not mix, you want to leave it looking sporadic in color
dispersal.
Step 8: Press the mixture into both halves of your fillable ornament and press down firmly.
Step 9: Now, spritz both halves of the
ornaments with witch hazel. Then, attach
the ornament halves together.
Step
10: Allow the bath
bombs to set. Then, release them slowly
from the mold.
Your Cotton Candy Bath Bombs are now
ready for use. Enjoy!
