Ingredients Found At Natures Garden:

Other Items You Will Need:
13 Straws
2 pots (for double boiler)
2 mixing bowls
1 microwaveable bowl
Mixing Spoon
Sharp Knife

Total Recipe Weights:

8 grams of white beeswax
106 grams of Natures Garden Lip Balm Base
2 grams of Vitamin E Oil
2 grams of Titanium Dioxide
8 grams of Diva Red Lip Tint Colorant

Step 1:  Using the double boiler method, weigh out and melt the beeswax.

Step 2:  Cut 13 straws in half and set all of your lip balm tubes erect.

Step 3:  Weigh out 78 grams of lip balm base and melt it in the microwave.  Once it is in a liquid state, take a pipette and place a few drops of the melted lip balm into the bottom of each tube.

Step 4:  Now, place one straw in the center of each lip balm tube opening.  Push down gently to ensure the straw is secure in the lip balm.

Step 5:  Next, using your pipette again; carefully fill the lip balm tubes with the melted lip balm.  Keep your pipette along the side of tube.  Do not fill the straw yet.

Step 6:  While the lip balm is setting up, place 28 grams of lip balm base into your pot with the melted beeswax.

Step 7:  In a separate bowl, weigh out the titanium dioxide and lip tint. Mix this well, making sure that there are no clumps.

Step 8:  Next, carefully is a rolling motion, remove the straws from the lip tubes.  Do this slowly.

Step 9:  Now, once the beeswax and lip balm is in a liquid state, remove it from the heat.  Add the Vitamin e oil.  Stir well.

Step 10:  Add the blended colorant to the mixture.  Stir well. Using a pipette, now fill the open portion that has been left behind by the straw.

Step 11:  Let the tubes completely set up.  Optional:  Using a knife, clean up the tops.

We hope that you enjoy your new dual quench lipstick!
