beeswax
106 grams of Natures Garden Lip
Balm Base

Step
1: Using the double boiler method, weigh out and melt the
beeswax.
Step
2: Cut 13 straws in half and set all of your lip balm tubes
erect.
Step
3: Weigh out 78 grams of lip balm base and
melt it in the microwave. Once it is in a liquid state, take a pipette
and place a few drops of the melted lip balm into the bottom of each tube.
Step
4: Now, place one straw in the center of each lip balm tube
opening. Push down gently to ensure the straw is secure
in the lip balm.
Step
5: Next, using your pipette again; carefully fill the lip
balm tubes with the melted lip balm.
Keep your pipette along the side of tube. Do not fill the straw yet.
Step
6: While the lip balm is setting up, place 28 grams of lip
balm base into your pot with the melted beeswax.
Step
7: In a separate bowl, weigh out the titanium dioxide and
lip tint. Mix this well, making
sure that there are no clumps.
Step
8: Next, carefully is a rolling motion, remove the straws from
the lip tubes. Do this slowly.
Step
9: Now, once the beeswax and lip balm is in a liquid state, remove it from
the heat. Add the Vitamin e
oil. Stir well.
Step
10: Add the blended colorant to the mixture.
Stir well. Using
a pipette, now fill
the open portion that has been left behind by the straw.
Step
11: Let the tubes completely set up. Optional: Using a knife,
clean up the tops.
