recipe is best prepared in non-humid climates.
Prior to making this recipe, pour some of your witch hazel into your
spray bottle in order to have this ready.
Step
1: First,
weigh
out and mix 264 grams of baking soda, 132 grams of citric acid, and 5 grams of kaolin clay. If there are any clumps, break them up with
your hands.
Step 2: Then,
in a
separate bowl, add 28 grams
of castor
oil, 8
grams of Kringleberry fragrance
oil,
10 grams of Neon Green FUN Soap Colorant, and 3 grams of Kelly Green FUN Soap
Colorant. Use a
spoon to mix these ingredients together.
It will have a paste like consistency.
Step
3: Use a spoon to add the wet ingredients
bowl to the dry ingredients bowl. Using
your hands, incorporate well. You want
to make sure everything is thoroughly mixed.
Step
4: Place some confetti sprinkles in one
side of the fillable ornaments.
Step
5: Next,
spray the mixture lightly with witch hazel
and
press the mixture into both halves of the mold, press down firmly. Now, spritz both halves of the ornaments
with witch hazel. Finally, attach the
ornament halves together. Allow to set
up. Set up takes about 45 minutes. Do not allow them to become hard in the
mold, or they will not release well.
Step 6: Once they have set up, gently remove the bath bombs from the mold. You will want to remove the side of the ornament without the confetti first. Be careful so that you do not knock off the edges of the tree when releasing from the molds.
Your Christmas Tree bath bombs are now ready for use. Enjoy!
