Before you begin creating your candle making recipe you will want to make sure that you are ready to make your homemade creation. So, you will need to gather your candle making supplies for this homemade candle recipe. Also, you will want to clean your candle making equipment for this recipe. You may want to clean up your work space and give yourself room to work.

Fresh Linen Candle Recipe: Creating the Double Boiler

One last preparation you are going to want to make is creating the a double boiler for melting your candle wax. So, you will need to use the melting pot and fill it with water. You will want to fill the pot with water and place it on the stove top. You will want to boil the water. You will need to place your pouring pot into the boiling water. When you melt the wholesale candle wax, you will put it in the pouring put. Then, you will be able to safely melt your candle wax with your freshly made pouring pot.

Before you create the base of the candle, you are going to make the wax embeds for the top of your finished candle. So, you will need to retrieve your clothespins mold. You are going to be creating both pink and blue colored wax embeds for the top of your candle.

First, you are going to create the pink clothes pin embeds. So, you will want to weigh out 1 ounce of the Pillar of Bliss wax. Then, you are going to want to melt the candle wax for these wax embeds. You will want to add one ounce of the Pillar of Bliss candle wax to your pouring pot. Once your candle wax is completely melted you will be ready to move on to the next step.

Now, you are ready to add a very small amount of the pink color block to the melted wax. As the color block melts, you will want to stir to incorporate the candle colorant to your wax. Before you move on to the next step, you will want to make sure that the color is fully incorporated with your melted candle wax.

After your wax is a nice pink color, you are ready to add the candle scent. So, you will need to weigh out 0.1 ounces of the Fresh Linen Fragrance Oil. This candle making fragrance is a clean accord with notes of jasmine, lilac, peony, Egyptian musk and French vanilla. Further, the scent has soft subtle back notes of powder and musk.

You are going to need to grab your clothespins mold. So, you are going to want to pour your pink scented wax into the mold. Once your wax melts have hardened, you will be ready to remove your wax embeds from the mold. Since this candle wax recipe makes extra clothespins, these can be used as wax melts in your tart burner. For the moment you will need to set your wax clothes pins aside until you need them.

Now, you are going to repeat the process for the blue clothes pin embeds. So, you will want to wipe out the pouring pour. Then, you will want to weigh out 1 ounce of the Pillar of Bliss wax. Then, you are going to want to melt this candle wax to make the blue wax embeds. You will want to add one ounce of the Pillar of Bliss candle wax to your pouring pot to melt.

Once your candle wax is completely melted you will be ready to add your blue colorant. You will want to add a small amount of the blue color block to your melted wax. You will need to mix the color thoroughly into the melted wax.

Next, you are going to add the fragrance oil to your candle wax. So, you will weigh out and add 0.1 ounces of the Fresh Linen Fragrance Oil. Of course, this scented oil has the fresh scent that is very clean and smells similar to downy fabric softener.

After adding the candle colorant, you will be ready to pour the wax into the mold. Once your wax melts have hardened, you will be ready to remove your wax embeds from the mold. Now you are going to prepare the base of the candle. So, you will need to grab your glass apothecary jar for candle making. You will need two candle wicks that you can stick to the bottom of the jar. You will need to use a hot glue gun to stick the wicks to the bottom of the jar. Be sure to space your wicks out evenly and make them as straight as possible.

Now you are going to create the first layer of your homemade candle recipe. So, you will need to add 4.5 ounces of Joy Wax to your pouring pot. After all the wax has melted, you will want to add the colorant to your wax. This first layer will be pink, so you will need to add a small amount of a pink color block. You will need to mix in the color thoroughly. Then, you are ready to add in 0.4 ounces of this fresh fragrance oil. Mix everything together well before you pour the wax into the jar. Finally, you will pour your wax into the jar. You will need to be careful not to splash the sides of the jar, so try to pour in the middle of the jar. Now, you will need to let this first layer harden before you pour the second layer.

Once your pink layer has completely set up, you are ready to next layer. Now, you are going to create the white portion of the layered candle recipe. Again, you will want to add 4.5 ounces of Joy Wax to your pouring pot. Once this candle wax has melted, you are ready to add the fragrance to the melted wax. So, you will want to add 0.4 ounces of Fresh Linen Fragrance Oil to the melted wax. You will want this middle layer to set up completely before you move on to the final layer.

Finally, you are ready to create the blue layer for your scented candle recipe. Make sure that the white layer is completely set up before you create the white layer. So, you will need to use the double boiler to melt 4.5 ounces of Joy Wax to your pouring pot. Once this wax has melted, you will want to add a small amount of your blue color block to your wax. Then, mix well to fully disperse the color. You will need to weigh out 0.4 ounces of the Fresh Linen Fragrance Oil and stir everything together well. Now you will need to wait for this top layer to set up completely before moving on to the next step.

Next, you are going to need to prepare the whipped topping for your candle. So, you will need to melt 8 ounces of the Joy Wax. Once the candle wax has completely melted, you will need to add 0.8 ounces of the clean and refreshing aroma of the Fresh Linen Fragrance Oil to your melted candle wax.

Now you will be ready to top your candle with this scented whipped candle wax. You will need to let the wax set up a bit before beginning to top your candle. Once your wax is similar to a slushy in consistency. You will want to mix or whip the wax until it is think and fluffy like frosting. Then, you can top the candle with whipped wax. As you add the candle wax to the top of the candle, you will want to keep your wicks centered as you add you candle wax.

Lastly, you will be ready to add the clothes pin embeds to the top of the candle. You will want to add these wax embeds into the candle before the whipped candle wax sets up completely. Next, you are ready to curl your candle wicks to finish creating your homemade candle recipe.

Finally, your homemade candle is finished being created! Now you will need to wait for your candle to cure for a week or two. Once your candle has cured, you are ready to trim your wicks and use the Fresh Linen Candle!

This mold was used for making some candles that look just like blueberry muffins, complete with little embed blueberries that were made with the Mini Cherries/Berries Mold!  Finally, it wouldn’t be a blueberry muffin without our Blueberry Muffin Fragrance Oil!

What Does White Gardenia Fragrance Oil Smell Like?

White Gardenia Fragrance Oil from Nature’s Garden is an opulent, luxurious floral fragrance that was designed to appeal to the likes of royalty!  Top notes of citrus, lily of the valley, and aldehydes begin this bright scent.  Middle notes of white gardenia, jasmine, and muguet rest on subtle notes of amber woods to create a warm floral base like no other!

How Do Our Customers Use White Gardenia Fragrance Oil in Bath and Body Products?

Indulge in a touch of luxury by creating bath and body products with White Gardenia Fragrance Oil.  Bath bombs, gels, and oils perform nicely when the maximum recommendation of 5% fragrance oil is added.  White Gardenia Fragrance Oil from Nature’s Garden can be used to create a bouquet of refreshing products!  Handmade perfumes perform well with this fragrance when a maximum of 5% fragrance oil is used.  Homemade lotions can be created using White Gardenia Fragrance Oil.  We recommend lotion recipes use no more than 5% fragrance oil.  Homemade cleaning recipes can also be created using a maximum of 5%.

Soap crafters can use 5% fragrance oil in hot process soap, melt and pour soap, or cold process soap recipes.  Our cold process soap testing video shows that this fragrance oil behaves nicely!  There was no acceleration, no ricing, and no separation.  Cured soap did not discolor and maintained a very strong scent retention.  We do not recommend a colorant for your bath and body products when using this fragrance.  However, if you wish to color your soap, we recommend using liquid soap dye in the amount that satisfies you.  Remember not to use candle dye in any of your bath and body products as they are not body safe.

How Do Our Customers Use White Gardenia Fragrance Oil in Room Scenting Products?

White Gardenia Fragrance Oil creates a blossoming scent for any space.  Those creating homemade air fresheners can incorporate up to 50% of White Gardenia Fragrance Oil in their projects.  You can use this floral fragrance oil in incense and smelly jelly recipes.  This fragrance oil was also found to create strongly scented aroma beads.

Candles and wax tarts can be made using up to 10% fragrance with vegetable and paraffin waxes.  It does nicely in Joy Wax, Wow Wax, and even Pillar of Bliss.  Additionally, customers can use this strong floral scent in gel wax candles.  We do not recommend a colorant for your wax products when using this fragrance.  However, if you do wish to color your candles or tarts, you may use a small amount of Spectrum Liquid Candle Dye or shredded color blocks.  Do not use crayons to color your candles as they will clog your wick.
