Black Cherry Fragrance OilBlack Cherry Fragrance Oil – Fragrance Oil Spotlight

Natures Garden’s Black Cherry Fragrance Oil is an extremely strong aroma of sweet ripened black cherries.  Black Cherry trees are also known as Prunus serotina and the fruit that it bears is neither sweet nor sour, which makes it perfect for wines, jellies, and jams.  Native to Kentucky, black cherry trees grow the best in deep forests, but due to the animals and many types of birds that eat the fruit and spread the seeds, they are more likely to grow wild along sides of roads.  The average tree size reaches a height of 50 to 60 feet.  However, in Clark County Kentucky there is a champion black cherry tree that stands 95 feet tall.  I mention this because the black cherry tree is a valuable forestry plant because the wood is prized for carpentry as the strong, hard wood from this tree is close-grained and perfect for furniture and cabinets.  Black cherry trees grow in full sun and partial shade and prefer moist soil.  Once a black cherry tree is planted, it should not be moved as this will damage the shallow taproots.  In the spring, the tree will bear clusters of small, but stunning white, fragrant flowers which is truly a site to see.  Not only are the black cherry trees beautiful and the black cherries beyond delicious, the pit of the black cherry has been used to play games such as marbles.

Pumpkin Walnut Biscotti FragrancePumpkin Walnut Biscotti Fragrance Oil Spotlight

With all the different ways to make delicious pumpkin desserts, you’ve got to have a scent to represent each amazing flavor combination. Pumpkin Walnut Biscotti would go great with a cup of coffee, filling you up and warming you up this fall. In English, the Italian word “biscotti” means “twice-cooked.” The twice-cooked dryness of these cookies makes them last longer, and the products you make using this fragrance are certain to last even longer than the actual cookies because you can’t eat them! (Never eat fragrance oil- no matter how delicious it smells.)

You can combat discoloration due to vanilla with our Vanilla White Color Stabilizer– but remember that you are responsible for the results in your finished products. Our coloring suggestions for bath and body products are to use orange and brown soap colorant in the amount that satisfies you. Never color bath and body products with candle dye or they will end up coloring you! You can, however, try natural soap colorants– just be sure to pay close attention to the descriptions on their corresponding pages as different natural colors will be affected differently by different soap making processes.

Soaps! The maximum recommended usage percentage for this alluring autumn aroma in bath oils, bath gels, and soaps is 5%. Our cold process soap testing found that CP soap made with this fragrance had perfect pour: no acceleration, no ricing, no separation, and strong scent retention. It did, however, discolor to a chocolate color. This is likely due to the fragrance’s 5% vanillin content. Vanillin has a tendency to discolor bath and body products to varying shades of brown; more vanillin means darker discoloration. In order to combat discoloration due to vanilla, we recommend trying Vanilla White Color Stabilizer. Remember- you are responsible for the results in your finished products. Our coloring suggestions for bath and body products are to use orange soap colorant in the amount that satisfies you. Never color bath and body products with candle dye or they will end up coloring you!

We’ve also got some cute mini-pumpkin molds and jack-o-latern molds for pumpkin-shaped soaps!

Body products (outside of the bath)! This perfectly pumpkin fragrance performs perfectly in perfumes and its maximum recommended usage percentage in lotions and body sprays is 5%.

Cleaning products (not for your body)! The maximum recommended usage percentage for this seasonal scent in cleaning products is 5%.
