Also, you will want to sanitize any equipment that you will need. Next, you will want to prepare an area for a work space. Further, it is suggested that you wear gloves, protective clothing, and a hair net while you prepare this mp recipe.

First, you are going to create the yellow soap for the mp soap recipe. This portion of the melt and pour soap will be used to create the center of the daisy embeds and the yellow soap embeds. So, you are going to need to melt 95 grams of the hemp melt and pour soap. You will want to use thirty second intervals in the microwave to prevent overheating. Then, you will want to add 15 drops of Neon Yellow FUN Soap Colorant and 3 drops of Yellow Oxide FUN Soap Colorant to the soap.

Next, you are going to mix all the ingredients into your melted soap. First, you will want to stir well to incorporate the colorant into the soap. Next, you will need to add 4 grams of the Vanilla White Color Stabilizer. After, you will want to add 4 grams of the Dreama Fragrance Oil. Be sure to mix everything together thoroughly before moving on to the next step.

One way that you will use this yellow soap is to create the center of the daisies embed mold. You are going to want to use a disposable pipette to transfer the soap. As you create the flower center, you will want to make sure that you are careful to only fill the center of the soap mold. You can set the daisy mold aside for the moment.

Now, you are going to create the confetti to embed in the mp soap base. We chose to use the loaf silicone soap mold, but you can use wax paper instead if you would like. The only difference is that the wax paper embeds will be thinner. Pour the soap into one cavity of your soap mold.  After pouring, you will need to spray the soap base with rubbing alcohol to remove any air bubbles. Before you move on to the next step, you will want to wait for the yellow soap to set up completely.

Once the yellow soap is completely set up, you will need to remove it from the mold. Next, you are going to cut the soap into small squares. You will want to create small squares. First, we cut lines in the direction in one direction. Then, in the opposite direction to create small squares that are about the same size.

Next, you are going to create the green embeds for your soap. You will want to use 75 grams of the hemp melt and pour soap for this portion. Use a microwave safe bowl and short bursts in the microwave to melt your soap. Once everything is melted, you will want to add the green soap colorant. So, add 7 drops of the Neon Green FUN Soap Colorant and 2 drops of the Kelly Green FUN Soap Colorant to your mp soap.

Now, you are going to mix all of the cosmetic ingredients together. Of course, you will want to mix the colorant into the soap. Also, you will want to add in add 3 grams of the Dreama Fragrance Oil and 3 grams of the Vanilla White Color Stabilizer. After everything is mixed together, you are ready to move on to the next step in the process.

At this point you are ready to pour your homemade soap. So, you will pour your mp soap the same way that you did previously for the yellow soap. Then, spray the top with rubbing alcohol to release air bubbles. Next, remove the soap and cut your green soap embeds into small squares to match the yellow soap squares.

Lastly, you are going to create the lime green soap embeds for the homemade mp soap recipe. You are going to need to melt 75 grams of the hemp melt and pour soap base. Melt the soap base using the microwave in thirty second bursts.

Now, you are going to mix in 3 grams of Dreama Fragrance Oil, 3 grams of Vanilla White, and 10 drops of the Lime Green FUN Soap Colorant. After everything has been mixed together well, you will need to pour the soap into either the soap mold or the wax paper. Also, you are going to need to spray the soap with rubbing alcohol.

Once the lime green soap sets up completely, you are ready to cut the soap into pieces. So, you will want to cut the soap into pieces that will match the previous embeds for the green and yellow soap portions.

Before you move on to the next step, you are going to need to mix your cut up soap embeds together. This will make it easier for you to add them your mp soap later on. Once you have your soap mixed up, you can set the pile aside for a later step.

Now, you are ready to return to the daisies embed mold. First, you are going to melt the hemp soap base. After the homemade soap is melted, you will need to mix in 3 grams of the Dreama Fragrance Oil and 3 grams of Vanilla White Color Stabilizer. Before you can pour this mixture, you will need to spray the yellow soap with rubbing alcohol.

Next, you are going to pour the white scented soap to the daisies soap mold. After filling each of the molds, you will want to spray the top with rubbing alcohol. Now, you will need to wait for the soap to set up before removing the flowers from the mold.

You are going to add these daisies to the square tray mold. Each of the squares are going to need to have one flower centered in it. Of course, you will want to make sure that the flower is perfectly centered as you won’t be able to move them after you add the clear soap base.

Now you are going to need to prepare the first clear layer of this soap recipe. So, melt 420 grams of the Diamond Clear soap base. Then, mix in 21 grams of the Dreama Fragrance Oil and 21 grams of the Vanilla White Color Stabilizer. Stir these ingredients together well. You will need to spray the flowers with rubbing alcohol before you pour the clear soap base. Then, you are ready to slowly pour the soap into the mold.

Once the first layer has completely set up, you will be ready to add the soap embeds. First, spray the layer with rubbing alcohol and spread the soap into the mold. You will want to make sure that you spread the soap as evenly as possible.

Now, you are going to prepare the second layer for this soap recipe. So, you will need to melt 420 grams of the Diamond Clear mp soap base. Then, mix in 21 grams of the Dreama Fragrance Oil and 21 grams of the Vanilla White Color Stabilizer. Now, spray the soap embeds with rubbing alcohol and pour the second layer. Lastly, spray the top of the soap to remove air bubbles.

4 grams Brown Oxide FUN Soap Colorant
3 drops Black Oxide FUN Soap Colorant

Leopard Cold Process Soap: Creating the Lye

The first step you will have for creating the cold process soap is preparing the lye solution. So, you will want to measure 323 grams of water in one container and 113 grams of Lye in another container. As always, you will want to prepare this solution in a well ventilated area with a face mask, googles, and protective clothing. You will want to slowly stir as you add the lye to your water. Once your lye solution cools you will add 8 grams Sodium Lactate. In the meantime, you can move on to the next step of the process.

Leopard Cold Process Soap: Preparing the Cosmetic Oils

Now, you are ready to prepare you cosmetic oils. So, add 42 grams Jojoba Oil, 85 grams Meadowfoam Seed Oil, 127 grams Palm Oil, 85 grams Sweet Almond Oil, 127 grams Mango Butter, 85 grams Apricot Kernel Oil, 127 grams Shea Butter, and 170 Coconut Oil 76 to a microwave safe bowl. You will need to melt your soaping oils. Then, you need to wait for oil mixture to cool to room temperature.

While you wait for the lye solution and soaping oils to cool, you can prepare your soap colorants. You are going to make a black, brown, and yellow-gold.

In one small bowl, you will want to add 4 grams of the Brown Oxide FUN Soap Colorant and 3 drops of the Black Oxide FUN Soap Colorant. Then, mix them together you can set this bowl aside for the moment.

Then, add 5 grams of the Black Oxide FUN Soap Colorant to a different small bowl. Again, set this bowl aside for the moment.

In your last bowl, you will add 1 gram of the 24K Gold Mica Pigment. You will need to mix the mica dust with a small amount of soaping oils. Also, add 1 gram of Yellow Oxide FUN Soap Colorant to your bowl. You will want to set this bowl aside for the moment.

Once both the lye solution and the cosmetic oils are at room temperature, you are ready to combine them. So, add the lye solution to your bowl of melted oils. You will need to use a stick blender to emulsify these cosmetic ingredients.

Next, you are going to scent your soap batter. So, add 64 grams of the Brazilian Jackfruit Fragrance Oil to your soap batter and stick blend to mix. This scent has notes of tropical jackfruit, pineapple and delicious apple. These are combined with an alluring heart of jasmine, rose, and white floral notes. Further, these notes are complimented by the soft warmth of sandalwood and musk.

Next, you are going to need to separate your soap batter into three equal portions. After separating your soap, you are going to add one of your prepared colorants to each bowl. You will need to stick blend to incorporate the color. So, you will start with your gold color, then blend the brown, and finally the blend the bowl containing the black soap colorant.

Now that you have created each of the colors for your leopard soap, you are ready to fill your squeeze bottles. You will want to pour each color into its own bottle. Then, you can add the lid to each of the bottles.

Next, you are going to use your brown soap to create the center of the leopard spots. So, you are going to need to get your square soap mold. Then, you will want to create dots that are similar in size to the dots in the picture. Also, make sure to place these dots where you want your leopard spots to be in your finished soap. In each square we had between 4 and 6 spots, but this all depends on size and spacing.

After you have your brown dots, you are going to outline them with small lines of your black soap. You will want to add about three to four black lines, depending on the size of your dot, around each of the brown dots. Continue this process for all of the dots in your soap mold.

Now you are going to add the yellow-gold color to the mold. So, you will need to fill in all of the empty space in this first layer with this third color of soap. Once your first layer is complete, you are ready to move on to the next step in the process of making your leopard soap.

You will want to add a second layer to your soap mold. So, you will start with the brown soap and place another layer of dots on top of the previous layer. Next, you will add another layer of the black lines around each dot in relatively the same place. Finally, add another layer of the yellow-gold color around your spots.

Now that you mold is about half way filled, you are going to do something different with the bottom half of the soap. So, you will want to alternate adding your three colors to the mold in a way similar to the picture to the left. You can refill your bottles as needed and continue until your mold is filled.

Once your soap mold is all the way filled, you are going to swirl top. So, grab a skewer and begin to lightly swirl this top layer. You need to make sure that the skewer doesn’t go too deep in the soap. Otherwise, you may ruin your leopard spots. Once your soap has been swirled, you are ready to move on to the last step.

Finally, your cold process soap is done and nearly ready to use! You will need to wait at least 24 to 48 hours before you can remove the soap from the mold. After removing your soap, you will want to wait until your soap is set up enough to cut into bars. You will be able to cut nine individual bars. Now, you just need to wait for your cold process soap to finish the curing process. This will take four to six weeks. Afterwards, you will be able to use your finished soap!

First, you are going to need to prepare your lye solution. You will want to wear protective clothes and prepare this solution in well ventilated area. So, weigh out 323 grams of water into the mixing bowl. Next, you will need to weigh out 120 grams of the lye in a separate bowl. Then, you will slowly add the lye to the water while you are stirring with a spatula. Once you have everything mixed, you will need to wait for the solution to cool to room temperature. While you are waiting for the lye solution to cool, you can move on to the next step in the process.

Next, you are going to prepare your soap making oils. So, you will want to weigh out 127 grams of Sweet Almond Oil, 85 grams of Argan Oil, 127 grams of Sunflower Oil, 170 grams of Shea Butter, 127 grams of Mango Seed Butter, 3 grams of Vegetable Glycerin, 127 grams of Fractionated Coconut Oil, and 85 grams of Palm Oil. Now, you are going to add melt your oils. Once everything is melted you will want to set this bowl aside for a bit.  You want the temperature of your soaping oils to drop to room temperature.

While you are waiting for your cosmetic oils and lye water to cool down to room temperature, you can start to prepare your soap colorants. You can add each of these colorants to a small bowl and set aside. These will be used later to color your soap batter.

Now, you are going to prepare the first color for your soap. For the brown colorant, you are going to mix together a few different colorants. You will need 3 drops of Black Oxide FUN Soap Colorant, 3 grams of Brown Oxide FUN Soap Colorant, 1 gram of Orange Oxide FUN Soap Colorant, and 3 grams of Red Oxide FUN Soap Colorant. Then, you will mix in 1 teaspoon of Diamond Dust Mica  and 3 grams of Vegetable Glycerin. After, you can set this bowl aside until your soap batter has been mixed and ready to add color.

Next, you are ready to create the second soap colorant. You will want to add 3 grams of Yellow Oxide FUN Soap Colorant to the small bowl. Also, you can add in 1 teaspoon of Diamond Dust Mica and 3 grams of Vegetable Glycerin. Then, you are ready to set this bowl aside for the time being.

Now you are going to blend together the cooled lye solution and the melted soap making oils. So, you will need to add the cooled lye solution to your cosmetic oils. This will allow you to create your own soap batter for this soap making recipe. After you have blended everything together, you are ready to move on to the next step in the process.

Now, you are ready to add your scented oil to the soap batter. The soap scent that we have included in this cold process soap recipe is the Yuzu Fragrance Oil. The aroma of this fragrance is not just your ordinary grapefruit aroma. The Yuzu fragrance begins with top notes of mandarin, tangerine, lemon satsuma, and ruby red grapefruit. The scent continues with middle notes of bergamot. Finally, the fragrance ends with base notes of oakmoss. Additionally, this scented oil can be mixed with other tropical notes to create a very complex scent of your own! This scent is a fantastic fragrance for making soap.

You are ready to add the colorant into your soap batter. First, you are ready to add the yellow soap colorant to the soap batter and blend everything together. This lovely soap recipe will end up being a beige color for your giraffe recipe. Then, you will want to clean off the blender. Second, you are going to blend in the brown colorant into the soap batter. Once everything is mixed together you are ready to move on to the next step.

You are going to add a few sporadic drops through out the mold. You will want to make sure that each of the rectangles in the soap mold has a few drops. These will be the spots of your giraffe pattern. So, you will want to make sure that these brown spots are large enough and spaced out well enough. Then, you will be ready to move on to the next step.

The second layer will use the beige color of soap to your cosmetic mold. So, you are going to add the beige colored soap to your soap mold. This cold process soap will be used to fill in the background of the giraffe pattern. After filling in this part of the mold, you will want to continue this fun pattern in the following steps.

Now, you are going to want to continue to fill up your soap mold. As you add more soap you will want to layer the same color on top of one another. So, you will want to add more brown soap on top of  the brown dots in the soap mold. Then, add more beige soap to fill in the mold. You will need to continue these two steps until you reach the top of the soap mold.

Giraffe CP Soap Recipe: Removing the Soap From the Mold

Once your cp soap has completely set up, you are ready to remove your homemade soap from the cosmetic mold. You will want to wait about 24 to 48 hours to ensure that the soap has set up enough to take out. Once your soap recipe is out of the mold. After you have removed your soap from the mold, you can slice it into individual bars. You will be able to make eight separate bars of soap. Of course, you can cut along the lines to create nine bars of cold process soap.

Giraffe CP Soap Recipe: Finishing the Giraffe Soap Recipe

Since this soap making recipe uses cold process soap, you will want to wait for the soap to cure before using it. Waiting will make sure that the lye has completely reacted and that you homemade soap is ready for your skin. The curing process will take anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks of waiting. After your soap had finished curing, you can finally use your finished giraffe cold process soap!
