Before you begin creating your homemade bath bombs you will want to prepare a bit to make this process as easy as possible. First, you will want to prepare your bath bomb equipment and collect the necessary ingredients. So, you will need to gather all of the listed supplies from above. Also, you will want to make sure that your bath bomb supplies and your work space is clean and sanitized. This will make sure that you are creating a clean, quality finished product. Now, you should be ready to get started on creating your homemade creations!

Mojito Bath Bomb Recipe: Preparing the Dry IngredientsMojito Bath Bomb Recipe: Preparing the Dry Ingredients

First, you will need to mix most of your dry ingredients together. So, take one of your two medium mixing bowls. (The other bowl can be left aside for now.) Then, you will need to add 300 grams of the Citric Acid, 182 grams of the Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, and 600 grams of Baking Soda to the bowl. Now, you will need to make sure that you mix these ingredients thoroughly. Be sure that you break up all the clumped powder as you combine your cosmetic ingredients. You may find that it is easiest to use a gloved hand to mix these ingredients. After, these powders are completely mixed you are ready to move on to the next step.

Mojito Bath Bomb Recipe: Preparing the Wet Ingredients

Next, you are going to be preparing the wet ingredients for this recipe. So, you will want to take your second bowl to add these wet ingredients together. You will need to combine 18 grams of Sweet Almond Oil and 18 grams of the Mojito Fragrance Oil into the bowl. Once these two ingredients are mixed together, you are ready to mix these ingredients together.

Mojito Bath Bomb Recipe: Mixing the Wet and Dry IngredientsMojito Bath Bomb Recipe: Mixing the Wet and Dry Ingredients

Now, you are going to add your dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. You will want to use your gloved hands again to mix these two bowls of ingredients together. You will want to continue to mix until all the ingredients are evenly mixed together. After these ingredients are mixed thoroughly, you are ready to add the wholesale cosmetic herbs and create the pretty design.

Mojito Bath Bomb Recipe: Adding the HerbMojito Bath Bomb Recipe: Adding the Herb

Next, you will be adding the wholesale herb to your bath bomb mixture. First, you are going to want to add in 5 grams of the Spearmint Leaf Cut and Sifted to your mixture. You will want to mix this refreshing cosmetic herb to the bath bomb mixture. Continue to mix until the herbs are completely incorporated. Again, you will want to use your hands to mix all of this herb into your bath fizzy mixture.

Mojito Bath Bomb Recipe: Separating the Mixture

Now, you are going to want to separate your bath bomb mixture into two equal portions. One of these portions will remain uncolored and the other will be made green. So, divide your mixture into two and put one of the medium mixing bowls aside for now.

Mojito Bath Bomb Recipe: Preparing the Green PortionMojito Bath Bomb Recipe: Preparing the Green Portion

Now, take one of your two divided portions of the bath bomb mixture. You are going to be adding colorant and an herb to this portion. First, you will want to add 9 grams of Kelly Green FUN Soap Colorant to this bowl. Also, you will want to add in the clay powder. So, mix in 5 grams of the French green clay powder. Now, you will want to use your gloved hands to mix in the color and herb. Make sure to thoroughly mix the color and break up any concentrated clumps. Once the mixture is an even green color without any speckles, you are ready to on to the next step.

Mojito Bath Bomb Recipe: Filling the Bath Bomb MoldMojito Bath Bomb Recipe: Spraying with Witch Hazel

Next, you are going to begin filling the wholesale bath bomb mold. So, take you first color and slowly spray your mixture with witch hazel. You will want to continue to spray the dough in your hands until it feels like crumbly dough. However, you will need to be careful not to spray the mixture too much. If you over spray your mixture, then you could potentially activate the ingredients. You will see that the ingredients are activated when the mixture foams a bit. This will mean that the ingredients in the bath bomb will not fizz as well when used in your bath tub.

Mojito Bath Bomb Recipe: Filling the Bath BombMojito Bath Bomb Recipe: Filling the Bath Bomb

After, you are going to use this crumbly dough to fill your bath bomb mold. Take one half of the bath bomb mold and use this dough to begin filling the mold. You can begin with either color, but we decided to start with the uncolored dough. Make sure that you press the dough firmly into the mold. This will be the first layer of your bath bomb. Next, you are going to use the second color to create the next layer.

Mojito Bath Bomb Recipe: Using the Second ColorMojito Bath Bomb Recipe: Using the Second Color

Next, you are going to work with your second color. In our case, this will be the green color. For you, it will be which even color you didn’t use first. So, take a small amount of this mixture in your hands and begin to spray it with witch hazel. Again, you will want to spray until your reach the same consistency as crumbly dough. But, you want to make sure that you don’t spray your dough too much, as adding too much liquid can ruin the bath bomb.

Mojito Bath Bomb Recipe: Adding the Second LayerMojito Bath Bomb Recipe: Adding the Second Layer

After you have achieved the right consistency, you are ready to add it to your bath bomb mold. So, add your second color on top of the first color. This will create a layered effect when you are finished. Make sure that you pack this layer in well to ensure that it sticks to the layer beneath it. Once this second layer is packed in tightly you are ready to move on to the next step for finishing up the bath bombs.

Mojito Bath Bomb Recipe: Continuing to Layer the Bath BombMojito Bath Bomb Recipe: Continuing to Layer the Bath Bomb

Now, you are going to continue to create these alternating green and white layers for your bath bombs. Once you fill up one side of the bath bomb mold, you can do the same thing with the other half of the mold. After you have completely filled up both sides of the bath bomb mold you are ready to combine the halves. Now, very lightly mist each side of the bath bomb. Again, be sure not to over spray your mixture. Then, you will need to press the two halves together tightly. Once the halves are stuck together, you can set it aside for now. Once this bath bomb is finished, you will need to repeat this process until you have used up all of your bath bomb mixtures. After you have created all the bath bombs that you can with your two mixtures, then you only have one more thing left to do!
