Also, this fragrance will perform perfectly in perfume, as long as there is a fragrance oil concentration of no more than 5%. Additionally, a variety of soaping methods can be successfully done with this fragrance oil. In fact, our Cold Process Soap Testing Results have revealed that this scent is great for this method of making soap. Not only will the batch have a perfect pour, but will have other preferable qualities. A batch containing this fragrance will have no acceleration, no ricing, and no separation. The final product will have a very strong scent after cure, and the final bar will discolor to a caramel. Since the vanillin content is 5%, adding some Vanilla White Stabilizer may prevent some of the discoloration. However, there are more than 40 ingredients used in fragrance manufacturing that may contribute to discoloration of products. If you want to color your bath and body products, then we suggest using purple liquid soap dye in the amount you desire.  Remember to never use candle dye in any body products.

Hillbilly Homebrew Fragrance OilHillbilly Homebrew Fragrance Oil – Fragrance Oil Spotlight

Hillbilly Homebrew Fragrance Oil is a woodsy cider scent by Natures Garden. Not only is this fragrance oil an NG original, but it is a bestseller as well! This aroma is a woodsy hard cider homebrew that is perfect for a crisp autumn day. While most people know of or have tasted a batch of homebrewed hard cider, not many people seem to know its history. From the very beginning of America’s history hard apple cider was possibly the most popular of all the available alcoholic beverages. However, prohibition among other things involving the countries development caused much of the public to turn their backs on this hard cider. While prohibition was eventually repealed, the same vigor for this classic beverage was not rekindled in the public’s eye. This left hard cider as a trade for a few family farms to pass on the historic tradition of homebrewed hard cider. This means that the good ole boys are some of the few left keeping this history rich tradition alive. Even though the much of this alcoholic beverage’s popularity died away almost 100 years ago, its taste is still just as rich and perfectly brewed as it was the days before prohibition. Which is why I’d say that this woodsy hard cider homebrew fragrance oil is perfect for hillbillies and city folk alike.

What Does Hillbilly Homebrew Fragrance Oil Smells Like?

This fragrance oil by Natures Garden is the aroma of mulled cider with woodsy notes of oak, cinnamon bark and cloves, with hints of wildberries. A Best Seller!  An NG Original Fragrance!

How Do Our Customers Use Hillbilly Homebrew Fragrance Oil?

Homemade room scents can be created.  Those making room scenting products can use this woodsy homebrewed cider fragrance oil in their own products. First of all, potpourri and incense can use up to 50% of this scent in their recipes. Also, this alcohol scent will remain nice and strong in aroma bead products. Moreover, this strong fragrance oil can be included in unique homemade candle recipes. You can even use it to make homemade wax tarts. Any candle product that is made from either vegetable waxes or paraffin wax can include up to 10% of this country brew scent. If you want to color your homemade candle creations, then we suggest using either five drops of orange liquid candle dye along with one drop of brown liquid candle dye or a small amount of shredded orange color block along with brown color block per four pounds of wax. Remember that you should never use crayons as a substitute to color your candles as they will clog your candle wick.

While homemade room scents be created using this alcoholic fragrance oil, bath and body can not be made using our Hillbilly Homebrew Fragrance Oil as it is not body safe. Since this scent is not body safe, it shouldn’t be used on the skin or any place where the fragrance my come into often/constant skin contact. Therefore, bath oils, bath gels, soaps, lotions, homemade cleaning products and other related bath and body products can not safely include this fragrance oil.

Country Bumpkin Fragrance OilCountry Bumpkin Fragrance Oil– Fragrance Oil Spotlight

Country Bumpkin Fragrance Oil is not only a Nature’s Garden original scent, but it’s a bestseller as well! Which makes a lot of  sense, because this delicious fragrance is decadent enough to get my mouth watering. It has me wishing for the taste of those warm apples fresh from the orchard and smothered in warm, gooey goodness in a place where nothing matters, but good times, great food, and a beautiful scenery.

What Does Country Bumpkin Fragrance Oil Smell Like?

This fragrance oil by Natures Garden is a wonderful complex blend of apples, candied yams, marshmallows, sweet cream butter, brown sugar, nutmeg, crushed cinnamon bark and fresh cloves.  Bring the country home to you.  An NG Original!  A Best Seller!

Top Notes: apples
Mid Notes:  candied yams, cinnamon bark, clove, nutmeg
Base Notes:  marshmallow, sweet cream butter, brown sugar

How Do Our Customers Use Country Bumpkin Fragrance Oil?

Candle crafters can use up to 10% in either vegetable of paraffin wax. This fragrance has shown to perform perfectly in joy wax and wow wax. Also, it is nice and strong in soy wax. For this scent we suggest using four drops of orange plus one drop of brown liquid candle dye per four pounds of wax or shred a small amount of an orange color block and brown color block into your melted wax. Make sure not to use crayons to color your candles as they will clog your wick.

Room scenters can include up to 50% of this fragrance oil in potpourri and incense. Also, this scent is nice and strong in aroma beads. However, gel wax is not compatible with this scent.

If you intend to create bath and body products, then please note that the body safe percentage is lower for our Country Bumpkin fragrance oil. Bath gels, bath oils, and lotions can have a maximum of 0.05% to be considered body safe. Perfumes have performed perfectly with 0.05% of this fragrance. Also, cleaners can be created using the body safe percentage of 0.05%.

Homemade soap crafters can also use 0.05% at the absolute most. Although you are able to incorporate 0.05% of this fragrance into cold process soap, we did not test this fragrance due to its low body safe percentage. Since this fragrance is so popular, I’d like to mention that just because we didn’t test this bar doesn’t mean you can’t use this spicy scent if you enjoy it. You may want to do a test batch before you commit to a large batch to make sure the bar turns out right for you. We are unsure whether this bar would discolor. If the 1% vanillin content does discolor the bar at all, then you can try to use vanilla white stabilizer to counter act its effect. We recommend using orange soap colorant and brown soap colorant in the amount that satisfies you. Remember that you should never use candle dye in any body products as they are not body safe.

So, why not take a little break to make yourself something great and indulge in a delectable scent?

Almond Rum Cake FragranceAlmond Rum Cake Fragrance Oil Spotlight

We sure have a lot of bakery scents. I’ve already talked extensively about the almonds themselves, and the small eternity it takes to make Amish friendship bread and fruitcake. Thankfully, almond rum cake only takes less than an hour to make. Maybe longer if you’re a less experienced baker. But still- far less than 10 days or a whole month. Relatively speaking, this is fast food. Check out our free Almond Rum Cake recipe on the fragrance oil page. Make yourself a tasty Almond Rum Cake and then use our fragrance oil to preserve those sweet memories in your soap, candles, bath and body products, and room scents. Just never, ever eat fragrance oil.

What Does Almond Rum Cake Fragrance Oil Smell Like?

This fragrance is a scrumptious bakery arrangement beginning with top notes of almond extract, chopped almonds, and dark rum; followed by middle notes of sugar cane, coconut milk, vanilla extract, and heavy cream; well-rounded with base notes of butter and cake batter. I don’t know about you, but just reading that makes me hungry. This is also a Nature’s Garden original scent. You’re welcome.

If you do not want this discoloration, feel free to try our Vanilla White Color Stabilizer– but keep in mind that it’s your responsibility to test it in your product- color stabilizer is not a guarantee. acorn harvest fragranceAcorn Harvest Fragrance Oil – Fragrance Oil Spotlight

Feeling squirrely? Then you’ll go nuts for this fragrance oil! Imagine walking through the oak trees in the crisp fall air. You take a deep breath and suddenly something hits you on the head. Is the sky falling?! Don’t be ridiculous, loosey goosey, it’s just an acorn. But ouch, yeah, those lil things sure pack a wallop when they fall from a tall oak tree. You look up to see where it came from and you hear a squirrel chattering. Weird. Squirrels make the weirdest noises. Almost like chirping but also yelling? You decide to high tail it out of there before the squirrel gets anymore ideas. The squirrel can rest easy knowing that his acorns buried in the ground, stored for later, are safe, for now.

What Does Acorn Harvest Fragrance Smell Like?

Acorn Harvest is a very unique, Nature’s Garden Original Fragrance Oil. It is comprised of a warm, earthy, nutty aroma paired with rich buttery vanilla notes. It’s nuts. You’ll feel like you’re standing directly under an oak tree in autumn. What better place is there to be?

How Do Our Customers Use Acorn Harvest Fragrance Oil?

For candle makers, this is just what you’re looking for – Acorn Harvest performs perfectly in joy wax, wow wax, and is nice and strong in soy wax. It is not gel wax compatible. For coloring candles, we suggest using 3 drops of orange and 2 drops of yellow liquid candle dye per 4 pounds of wax. Another coloring suggestion is to shred a small amount of an orange and a yellow color block into your melted wax. Just remember not to try to color your candle with a crayon or you’ll clog the wick! Burn an Acorn Harvest scented candle near an open window and watch the squirrels come a-runnin’.

For incense and potpourri, the maximum usage rate is 50% and Acorn Harvest is nice and strong in aroma beads. We’ve got a fun Autumn Leaves Potpourri recipe you could use this fragrance in, just substitute Autumn Woods fragrance for Acorn Harvest. They have the same usage percentages in potpourri so you should be okay if you stick to the original recipe.

For soap, bath oils, bath gels, lotions, perfumes, and cleaning products, the recommended maximum usage is 5%. Our cold process soap testing results show that Acorn Harvest fragrance does not cause acceleration of your soap batter, there is no separation, no ricing, and the soap retains its gorgeous scent. The fragrance oil discolors CP soap to a dark chocolate brown – the color of acorns..! (Almost.) If you don’t want brown soap, be sure to get some Vanilla White Color Stabilizer to help with discoloration, or add colorful dyes. We recommend using orange soap colorant in the amount that satisfies you (this particular colorant works well in melt and pour and cold process soaps).

We’ve also got some cute little Oak Leaves & Acorns embed molds that you could use to make soap samples or potpourri tarts. Just don’t let the squirrels get their little claws on them!
