Then, you will be able to weigh out 205 grams of the SCI, 230 grams of the baking soda, 112 grams of the cream of tartar, and 36 grams of the corn starch. Then, you can add all of these wholesale cosmetic powders to your medium mixing bowl. You will need to use your gloved hands to thoroughly mix all of these cosmetic ingredients together. Also, you are going to want to use your gloved hands to break up any clumps that may be present in these powdered cosmetic ingredients.

Bubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Adding the Wet IngredientsBubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Adding the Wet Ingredients

Next, you are going to weigh out both of the cosmetic oils for this bath and body recipe. So, you are going to need to weigh out 100 grams of the vegetable glycerin and 10 grams of the fractionated coconut oil. After measuring these amounts you are going to add both of these cosmetic ingredients to the powder mixture. Again, you will use your gloved hands to mix these cosmetic ingredients together well. Once these cosmetic oils have been fully incorporated into the powder you can move on to the next step of the process.

Bubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Scenting the MixtureBubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Scenting the Mixture

Now, you are going to scent your cosmetic mixture. So, you are going to need to weigh out 7 grams of the NG CanCan Type Fragrance Oil. Then, you will use your gloved hands to incorporate the fragrance oil into the mixture. Adding this scented oil will provide you with an aroma of fresh mandarin that balances with hints of apple peel to open this feminine fragrance. Then, jasmine, violet and lily form a floral accord that balances with woodland fern and hints of berry at the heart of this scent. Finally, a sensual blend of cashmere musk, golden amber and vanilla bean creates a romantic sweetness that surrounds the floralcy. So, adding this lovely fragrance oil will provide a gorgeous feminine touch to this adorable bath and body recipe!

Bubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Dividing the MixtureBubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Dividing the Mixture

Then, you are going to divide your bubble bar dough mixture into three separate portions. Each of these three portions of the dough will be made into a different color for this cosmetic recipe. You will want to make sure that these three portions each have about the same amount of the dough mixture. Then, you need to roll each portion into a ball. After, you will want to place each balled up portion into its own bowl.

Bubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Prepare the White PortionBubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Prepare the White Portion

First, you are going to prepare the white portion of this bath recipe. This portion of the bath scoop is going to be white and uncolored. So, you can leave this portion of the dough without any of the cosmetic colorant. All you need to do for this portion is roll it into a ball. Then, you can place this ball of dough in a medium mixing bowl and set the bowl aside for you to use in a later step.

Bubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Prepare the Pink PortionBubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Prepare the Pink Portion

Second, you are going to prepare the pink portion for the bubble bar recipe. For this portion of the dough you are going to add 5 drops of the Neon Pink FUN soap Colorant and 6 drops of the Ultramarine Violet FUN Soap Colorant. You will need to use your gloved hands to mix in the colorant until you have an even color throughout the dough. Then, you are going to add in one teaspoon of the Diamond Dust Mica Pigment to your bath and body mixture. Again, you will need to use your gloved hands to incorporate the mica dust. Once everything is mixed together, you can roll the dough into a ball, place it in the bowl, and set it aside for the moment.

Bubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Prepare the Purple PortionBubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Prepare the Purple Portion

Lastly, you are going to prepare the purple portion for your bubble bar scoops. In this dough portion you are going to add 10 drops of the Ultramarine Violet FUN Soap Colorant and 1 drop of the Neon Pink FUN Soap Colorant. You will need to use clean gloved hands to mix the colorant fully into the dough. Once you have an even color throughout the dough, you are going to add in one teaspoon of the Diamond Dust Mica Pigment to this portion of the bath and body mixture. Again, you will use your gloved hands to incorporate the mica powder dust. Then, you will need to roll the dough into a ball and set it aside for now.

Bubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Combining the Three Colored Dough PortionsBubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Combining the Three Colored Dough Portions

Now you are going to need all three balls of dough. You will want to place them together into one mixing bowl. Of course, you will want to push these balls close together to prevent too much of a gap forming between the colors. So, you will want to sandwich the uncolored dough between the pink and purple dough. Then, you are going to press down on your three balled up portions. You will want to continue to flatten your dough until the top resembles a freshly opened container of Neapolitan ice cream. Once your colors have been flattened, you are ready to move on to the next step in the process.

Bubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Scooping the Bubble BarsBubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Scooping the Bubble Bars

Now that your bowl of bubble bar dough has been flattened out, you are ready to create your little ice cream scoops! Now you are going to want to use your ice cream scoop to create your bath recipe. You will want to start on one side of the bowl and move your way across the bowl through the other colors. Your goal should be to get a little bit of all three colors in a single scoop. While you are scooping the dough, you will need to pack the dough into the ice cream scoop a bit to make sure that the dough will hold its form. Once you have the dough packed, you are ready to release it from the ice cream scoop. As you create the bubble bar scoops, you will need to place each of them into a piece of parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. You will need to repeat scooping and placing on either your paper or mat until all of the bubble bar dough has been used up.

Bubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Letting the Scoops Set UpBubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Letting the Scoops Set Up

After you have created all of your bubble bar scoops, you will need to let your finished bath and body creations rest. At this point your bath bars are too soft to use and will need time to set up. Waiting for the bubble bar scoops to set up will take a few days. The exact amount of time depends on the humidity level in your area. For instance, it may be a bit longer for those living with high humidity levels. But you will be able to tell when your bubble bars have set up when they have hardened and are no longer cool to the touch.

This will ensure that the project runs smoothly and you have all the materials that you need. Finally, you should clean your work space and equipment to make sure that your recipe will be clean and free of dirt.

Pink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe: Weighing the Dry Ingredients

First, we are going to combine all of your dry ingredients into one of your mixing bowls. So, get a medium or large mixing bowl ready. Also, you will need a gram scale in order to measure these ingredients. Then, to your bow,l weigh out 460 grams of the Baking Soda, 410 grams of the Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, 224 grams of the Cream of Tartar, and 72 grams of the Corn Starch.

Pink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe: Mixing the Dry IngredientsPink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe: Mixing the Dry Ingredients

Next, you are going to mix these previously measured ingredients together. You will need to make sure that these dry ingredients are mixed together well before moving on to the next step. Also, make sure you break up any clumps in the powders. This will ensure that each essential ingredient is evenly dispersed and clump-free throughout your entire batch.

Pink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe: Weighing the Wet IngredientsPink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe: Weighing the Wet Ingredients

Now, you are going to weigh your wet ingredients. You can do this part of the recipe one of two ways. You could weigh your ingredients into a small bowl and transfer them into your large mixing bowl of dry ingredients. Alternatively, you can measure the wet ingredients into the same mixing bowl as your dry ingredients. Either way you will need to measure out 200 grams of the vegetable glycerin, 24 grams of the rice bran oil, and 14 grams of the Spring Rain Fragrance Oil.

Pink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe: Combining the Wet and Dry IngredientsPink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe: Combining the Wet and Dry Ingredients

Now that both your wet and dry ingredients have been measured into your large mixing bowl you are ready to mix. Use your clean, gloved hands to mix together all of your ingredients. It is important that you mix these together well because you will be dividing the dough into portions. So, you will want to make sure that each portion has about the same amount of the ingredients.

Pink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe: Separating the Batch

Next, you are going to be separating your mixed bubble bar dough into two equal portions. So, grab your two other mixing bowls. You will need to put half of your batch into each of the bowls. You can eyeball the amounts or measure them if your would prefer. But, you just need to make sure that there is about half in each bowl.

Pink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe:Preparing the White PortionPink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe:Preparing the White Portion

The white portion of your batch is very simple to prepare. The hardest part is making sure that this bowl contains about half of the total dough. After, you have divided up your batch just roll the uncolored bubble bar into a ball. You can leave this white bubble bar dough ball in this bowl until we are ready to roll out the layers. So, you can move on to preparing the other half of this recipe.

Pink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe: Preparing the Pink PortionPink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe: Finish Preparing the Pink Portion

The second portion of the bubble bar dough is going to a bit more fun. While the first portion of this recipe was left uncolored, this section is going to be made a pretty shade of pink. Plus, this half of the bubble bar dough even uses Himalayan Pink Salt. This will create a pretty pink layer that would be wonderful for a diy salt soak. So, lets get started on creating the fun half of this bubble bar recipe!

Pink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe: Adding the Colorant to the Pink PortionPink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe: Adding the Colorant to the Pink Portion

Now, you are going to prepare the other half of your bubble bar dough. So, take this second half and add in three drops of the Tomato Red FUN Soap Colorant. This amount is perfect for giving us a pretty shade of pink for this layer of the bubble bar. You will need to use your gloved hands to mix this color into the dough evenly. You will want to want sure that you don’t have any specks of dye left unincorporated.

Pink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe: Adding the Colorant to the Pink PortionPink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe: Adding the Colorant to the Pink Portion

Now that this portion is colored, you will need to finish up this half of the batch. First, you are going to add in the Himalayan Pink Salt to your dough. So, weigh out 10 grams of the fine ground pink salt. Make sure that you mix this ingredient into the dough very well. Once all of the fine pink salt has been incorporated you can roll the dough into a ball. Now, you are ready for the next step in the process.

Pink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe: Flattening Out the DoughPink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe: Flattening Out the Dough

Next, you are going to be rolling out the dough. Before you start you are going to want to lay down either a silicone mat or a piece of parchment paper. This will be used to roll our bubble bar once we have made our layers. Then, you will need to sprinkle this mat or paper with a bit of baking soda. This will make sure that your bubble bar is easy to roll and doesn’t stick to your mat or paper.

Our outside layer is going to be the pink portion, so you will need to roll this portion out first. You will need to use a rolling pin to flatten out this bubble bar dough. Try to roll the dough into a rectangular shape. Also, you will want the dough to be about a quarter inch thick.

Pink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe: Flattening Out the Second LayerPink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe: Flattening Out the Second Layer

After your first layer has been rolled out, you are ready to flatten out the second layer. So, take your uncolored dough ball and place it right on top of the pink layer. Now, flatten this layer out to match the rectangular shape of the first layer. You will be finished once the layers are about the same thickness and size. But, you don’t need to be exact. The slight imperfections will add to the uniqueness of each bubble bar!

Pink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe: Creating the RollPink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe: Creating the Roll

Now that your two layers have been made you are ready to roll your bubble bar loaf. So, turn your parchment paper of silicone mat vertically, as shown to the right. Next, you will lift up the edge that is closest to you. You will need to begin to roll the dough onto itself. This process is similar to how you would wrap a jelly roll or pumpkin roll. You will want to go slowly as you roll and continue until all of the dough has been rolled into the loaf.

Pink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe: Topping the Bubble BarPink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe: Topping the Bubble Bar

Once the bubble bar loaf has been created, you are ready to start decorating the top of your bath and body product. Part of the decorating will be done with Coarse Ground Himalayan Pink Salt. You will be sprinkling the top of the loaf with the coarse ground pink salt. You should need about 20 grams of this for the top, but you can use more or less as you see fit. Also, you will need you slightly press the sprinkled pink salt into the top of the loaf. Otherwise, the pink salt will be likely to fall off easily and you will lose all of your pretty shades of pink salt.

Pink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe: Adding The Mica Dust

The other ingredient that you will use to decorate is mica dust. This lovely powder is perfect for creating a bath and body product that shimmers and shines. For this recipe you will use both the 24k Gold Mica Pigment and the Diamond Dust Mica Pigment. Liberally sprinkle the top of your loaf with each mica powder. After, use a craft brush to remove any excess mica. Dusting off the mica will make sure that your bars don’t have streaks of gold mica after you slice your bars.

Pink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe: Slicing the Bubble BarsPink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe: Slicing the Bubble Bars

Now you are ready to slice your bubble bar loaf into pieces! We suggest making each bar somewhere between one inch and two inches. This will make sure you have enough for each bath. Depending on the thickness you choose, you will have about eight individual bubble bars.

Once your slices have been made all you have to do is wait for your bars to set up. Based on how long our bubble bar took, it should take about 48-72 hours, or 2-3 days, for your bubble bars to completely set up. However, this can take longer depending on your climate. You will know that your bars are ready to use when they have hardened.

Pink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe: Finished ProductPink Salt Bubble Bar Recipe: Finished Product

Neapolitan Ice Cream Bubble Bars Recipe Clean and Sanitize

Since these are bath products, you really want to make sure that you aren’t accidentally including any dirt or debris. No one wants to soak with a dirty bubble bar! So, before you begin working make sure that everything is clean and ready for you to use! First, retrieve all of your equipment for this recipe. This includes things like the bowls, mixing utensils, and the ice cream scooper. So, make sure that all your equipment is clean. This will prevent any contaminants from getting into your bubble bars. Also, you will want to clean and sanitize your work area. Not only will this ensure that you have enough space to work, but you will make sure that you won’t pick up anything. For example, setting down a utensil on your work surface and using it later. So, this will further prevent potential contamination.

Neapolitan Ice Cream Bubble Bars Prepare Your Dry IngredientsNeapolitan Ice Cream Bubble Bars Recipe Prepare Your Dry Ingredients

First, you are going to weigh out all of your dry ingredients. So, retrieve your large mixing bowl and your measuring device. While you can use measuring cups and a tablespoon to complete this recipe, we suggest using a gram scale. The scale will give you far more exact amounts that will prevent your recipe from being made incorrectly. After you have your measuring equipment, you can begin working with your dry ingredients. So, combine 410 grams of the Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, 460 grams of the Sodium Bicarbonate- Baking Soda, 224 grams of the Cream of Tartar, and 72 grams of Corn Starch. Also, you can see the volume amount above for those using measuring cups. After, make sure to break up any clumps that you find in the powder. You will want to use your hands to mix up and go through to find all the clumps.

Neapolitan Ice Cream Bubble Bars Prepare Your Wet IngredientsNeapolitan Ice Cream Bubble Bars Recipe Prepare Your Wet Ingredients

Now, you are going to be working with your wet ingredients. So, take your bowl of dry ingredients and tare the weight on the scale. Alternatively, you could weigh these ingredients in a separate bowl before adding it to the dry ingredients. This could be helpful for those worried about pouring too much, as it could alter your recipe. After, add in 200 grams of the vegetable glycerin and 24 grams of the Fractionated Coconut Oil. Now, mix the wet and dry ingredients together. Be sure that you mix everything well and that it is all incorporated.

Further, you will want to check the consistency of the dough at this point. if it is too crumbly, you can add in more vegetable glycerin until you get the right consistency. This will be very important for those that used volume rather than weight, as this ingredient may be too thick to add the amount you needed from the measuring cup. However, you want to be careful not to add too much. If your dough gets too wet, then the ingredients will start to activate in the bowl. So, try to add just the right amount!

Neapolitan Ice Cream Bubble Bars Separate Your Bowl of Ingredients into Three PortionsNeapolitan Ice Cream Bubble Bars Recipe Separate Your Bowl of Ingredients into Three Portions

Next, you will be separating your mixture into three portions. Before you do, make sure that everything is mixed evenly. This will make sure that all the ingredients are going to be present in each bubble bar scoop. Then, you will need three small mixing bowls. Now, divide your mixture into three equal portions. Try to be as exact as possible, but it is okay if you just estimate the amounts for each bowl to contain 1/3 of your original mixture. While all of your bubble bar mixture should be out of the bowl, you will need this bowl again in a later step as you are scooping. For now, just set this large mixing bowl aside.

Neapolitan Ice Cream Bubble Bars Color and Scent the Chocolate PortionNeapolitan Ice Cream Bubble Bars Recipe Color and Scent the Chocolate Portion

Then, we will be creating the chocolate ice cream portion. First, you are going to need one of your small bowls. This bowl will have 3 grams of the organic cocoa powder and 12 grams of vegetable glycerin added to it. After, mix these together to create a paste. Now, grab one of your third portions of your mixture. Add the cocoa powder paste to the bowl. Also, add in 5 grams of the Hot Cocoa Fragrance Oil. Make sure to mix this well with either your hands or a mixing spoon. As long as the color and fragrance are evenly mixed, it doesn’t matter which method you use to mix. Then, roll your chocolate portion into a ball and set it aside.

Neapolitan Ice Cream Bubble Bars Color and Scent the Strawberry PortionNeapolitan Ice Cream Bubble Bars Recipe Color and Scent the Strawberry Portion

Also, we will be making the pink portion. Of course, this portion will become the strawberry ice cream part of your ice cream scoops! So, grab another of the unused dough portions in your medium mixing bowls. Now, add in a single gram of the FUN Neon Pink Soap Colorant to create a bright pink hue. Then, add in 5 grams of the scrumptious Strawberry Patch Fragrance Oil. Now, mix everything up well until it looks just like strawberry ice cream should! You should be certain that all the clumps of dye are mixed our and your have an even pink color. After you get everything mixed well, roll the mixture into a ball, set it back in the mixing bowl, and set it aside. for later use

Neapolitan Ice Cream Bubble Bars Scent the Vanilla PortionNeapolitan Ice Cream Bubble Bars Recipe Scent the Vanilla Portion

Lastly, you will be creating the vanilla ice cream portion. So, grab your other small bowl. Add in 2 grams of the vanilla powder and 5 grams of the vegetable glycerin. Then, mix these ingredients into a paste. Now, take the last portion of your plain mixture. You will add your completed paste to this bowl. Also, mix the 5 grams of the French Vanilla New Improved Fragrance Oil and 5 grams of the Vanilla White Stabilizer together in your little bowl. Then, add this to your vanilla mixture. Finally, mix all of these ingredients together very well. Roll this into a ball and set aside for a moment.

Neapolitan Ice Cream Bubble Bars Setting Up the Three ColorsNeapolitan Ice Cream Bubble Bars Recipe Setting Up the Three Colors

After all your colors are created you will need to prepare them for scooping. So, retrieve your three balled up colors. Now, remember what Neapolitan ice cream looks like before you set them up. you will want the white color, or vanilla, in the center and the other two flavors on either side. Be sure to set them right next to each other and not on top of one another.

After, you are going to press down on the colors to flatten them. You want to completely flatten all your dough in the bowl. Also, be sure that they are touching a little as you flatten. It is okay to have some overlap as you go. Once you are done you should have three rows of color that are ready for scooping!

Neapolitan Ice Cream Bubble Bars Creating the Ice Cream ScoopsNeapolitan Ice Cream Bubble Bars Recipe Creating the Ice Cream Scoops

Next, you are going to be scooping out your bubble bars. So, grab your stainless steel ice cream scooper as it is time to scoop the dough. As you go you will want to make sure that you get a little bit of each color for every scoop. You want others to be able to recognize that these are Neapolitan Ice Cream Scoops by looking at just one bubble bar! So, you will not want to have too much of any color in your scoops.

Maybe you could even practice with some real Neapolitan ice cream before you begin this recipe. You know, to get the technique down in the most delicious way possible.

Neapolitan Ice Cream Bubble Bars Finishing Your ScoopsNeapolitan Ice Cream Bubble Bars Recipe Finishing Your Scoops

Finally, you are going to be finishing up your bubble bar scoops. So, take the dough that you just scooped and tightly press it into the mold.
