This delicious taste comes from the Rubus leucodermis, which is commonly known as the “whitebark raspberry” or “blue raspberry” because when ripe, this delectable fruit turns to a blue-black color hue.

How Do Our Customers Use Blue Raspberry Slushie Fragrance Oil?

Crafters who are into making your own homemade soaps, the maximum recommended usage rate is 5%.  When making your handmade bath and body products such as bath oils, bath gels, and lotions, this blue raspberry fragrance oil performs well.  For homemade perfumes the maximum usage is also 5% and it performs perfectly.  Cold process soap testing results  shows that there was no acceleration and no ricing.  However, it does separate slightly, but will reabsorb.  It pours perfectly while retaining a strong scent.  The vanillin content for Blue Raspberry Slushie Fragrance Oil is 1.5% and it does discolor to a tan.  Fragrances containing vanillin may discolor soap.  Vanilla White Color Stabilizer may help prevent discoloration due to a vanillin content.  However, there are more than 40 ingredients used in fragrance oil manufacturing that may contribute to discoloration of bath and body products.

Homemade candles will have a maximum recommended usage rate of 10%.  Blue Raspberry Slushie Fragrance Oil performs perfectly in joy wax, wow wax, and is nice and strong in soy wax.  Using Natures Garden’s pillar of bliss wax, you can create homemade candle wax tarts as the scent is nice and strong.

Color is key!  Can you get your candle, soap, or other bath and body products as blue as your tongue after drinking an infamous blue raspberry slushie?   A color suggestion for homemade soaps, bath gels, bath oils, and lotions is to use blue soap colorant in the amount that you are satisfied with.  Never use candle dye in any body products.  For candles, we suggest the following color ideas; 2 drops of blue liquid candle dye per 4 pounds of wax or shred a small amount of blue color block into your melted wax. Never use crayons to color your candles as they will clog your wick.

What Does Blackberry Sage Fragrance Oil Smell Like?

This fragrance oil has strong top notes of tart blackberries, mulberries, and orange zests; middle notes of nutmeg, rose petals; bottom notes of fresh green sage leaves, red clover, and a dry down of vanilla.

Coloring Suggestions:   Blackberry Sage Fragrance Oil

Candle crafters, we have a couple of different coloring suggestions for homemade candles which are as follows; 5 drops of purple liquid candle dye or shred an ample amount of purple color block into the melted wax.  And please remember to never use crayons to color your candles as they will clog your wick.  For bath and body products, try purple soap colorant in an amount that satisfies you.  Never use candle dye in any bath and body products.

Blackberry Sage Fragrance Oil may remind you of your blackberry sage tea.  For homemade candles, this fragrance performs perfectly in joy wax, wow wax, and is nice and strong in soy wax and has a 10% usage rate.  It’s also nice and strong in aroma beads and can be used to create one of a kind, homemade candle wax tarts using our pillar of bliss wax.  The maximum use of 50% room scenting purposes such as potpourri and incense.
