This feminine fragrance oil is definitely a must smell! This unique aroma is quite possibly my personal all time favorite scent! I even use it in all of my homemade hair products. I’ve made leave in sprays, hair gels, and hair conditioners!
What does Goldie Dreadlocks Fragrance Oil Smell Like?
A complex arrangement of citrus top notes, combined with fruity florals, while sitting on sweet vanilla bean and a faint woodsy patchouli base. This fragrance does not smell like oatmeal or porridge, and is not a bakery type fragrance. We would consider this a complex fruity floral arrangement.
Top Notes: Orange, Apple, Wild Fern
Mid Notes: Violet Leaves, Geranium, Lavender
Base Notes: Patchouli, Vanilla, Sugar
How Do Our Customers Use Goldie Dreadlocks Fragrance Oil?
First, those who are homemade soap makers, you can use this fragrance at a maximum recommendation of 5% to create fantastic smelling products. It doesn’t matter if it is cold process soap or melt and pour soap, our customers love this scent. Our cold process soap results for this fragrance oil are no acceleration, no ricing, no separation, discolors to a dark toffee color. Scent stays very strong! Goldie Dreadlocks Fragrance Oil does have a vanillin content of 2.66%. While the bar will discolor to a toffee color, it is possible that Vanilla White Color Stabilizer may lighten the color. You will need to test this. Adding Natures Garden’s Vanilla White may produce a lighter or even white bar, depending on the fragrance. However, this stabilizer only help the discoloration caused by vanilla or vanillin. Since there are more than 40 ingredients used in fragrance manufacturing that may contribute to discoloration of products, the stabilizer will not work exactly the same for all fragrances. Other bath at body products, such as bath oils and gels, work great at concentrations of 5% or lower. For coloring, we recommend that you use yellow soap colorant in the amount that satisfies you. Never use candle dye in any body products.
Next, candle makers can use a maximum of 10% Goldie Dreadlocks fragrance oil. This includes homemade candles using either vegetable wax or paraffin wax. If you’re going to color your products, we suggest using 1 drop yellow Spectrum Liquid Candle Dye. You can also use a small amount of a yellow color block per 4 pounds of wax. You should not use crayons to color your candles, they will clog your wick. Unfortunately, our Goldie Dreadlocks fragrance oil is not compatible with handcrafted gel wax candles.
Finally, many other homemade products can be made using this feminine scent! Room scents can be created using up to 50% fragrance oil in potpourri and incense. Also, lotions, cleaning products, and perfumes are all safe to use to with up to 5% of this fragrance oil.
