Mix it together thoroughly and then carefully pour it into your Silicone 4 Loaf Mold. Once your colored soaps have hardened, go ahead and cut up each bar into different shapes. we cut them up into little tiny chunks to make it look more like confetti, but you can cut them into whatever shape and size you want! After they have been cut, mix all of your confetti into a bowl so that you don’t end up with more of one color! Next, spray your cooking oil onto a paper towel and rub it on the inside of your Square Loaf Mold. This will help to make the soap easier to remove once it is finished.

Now you can prepare the bowl with 656 grams of white soap, melting it completely in the microwave. Once it is melted, add 18 grams of Sweet Pea fragrance and mix it together thoroughly. Next, start to pour your soap into the mold. Fill it only about 1/4 of the way full, adding confetti chunks while it is still melted. Make sure to spray it with rubbing alcohol to release any air bubbles that may form. Repeat this process until you have filled your mold! When the mold is full, make sure to add some confetti chunks to the top too!

Hey everyone, let’s talk about melt and pour soap! Specifically, how to layer your soap. For any new makers out there, I promise this is a very easy process! Especially with making this simple Easter Egg Soap, the process of layering can easily be done! This soap is perfect for the upcoming holiday!

Ingredients for each layer:

Blue Layer:

120 grams Hemp Oil Melt and Pour Soap

12 drops Neon Blue FUN Soap Colorant

6 grams Best Friends Fragrance Oil

6 grams Vanilla White Color Stabilizer

Purple Layer:

120 grams Hemp Oil Melt and Pour Soap

15 drops Ultramarine Violet FUN Soap Colorant

6 grams Best Friends Fragrance Oil

6 grams Vanilla White Color Stabilizer

Pink Layer:

120 grams Hemp Oil Melt and Pour

10 drops Neon Pink FUN Soap Colorant

6 grams Best Friends Fragrance Oil

6 grams Vanilla White Color Stabilizer

Yellow Layer:

120 grams Hemp Oil Melt and Pour Soap

10 drops Yelp Yellow FUN Soap Colorant

6 grams Best Friends Fragrance Oil

6 grams Vanilla White Color Stabilizer

Other ingredients needed:

Dome Top Oval Mold Market Mold

Rubbing Alcohol

4 Mixing Bowls

Mixing Spoons

Scale

Directions:

First, you’ll want to start by measuring and weighing out 120 grams of Hemp Oil Melt and Pour Soap into each bowl. Each bowl will become a different layer for your soap. Then take your first bowl and begin to melt down the soap in the microwave until it is fully melted. When it is melted, add 12 drops of Neon Blue FUN Soap Colorant, 6 grams of Best Friends Fragrance Oil, and 6 grams of Vanilla White Color Stabilizer. Mix it together very thoroughly. Once it is fully mixed, pour your soap into your molds about ¼ of the way full, leaving enough room for the other colors. To make it more straight across, make sure to pour the soap into the middle of the mold and letting it move to the edges itself. Then make sure to spray it with rubbing alcohol. This will get rid of any air bubbles that may form. Then let that layer sit.

Once the blue layer has sat and hardened, put your second bowl of soap into the microwave and completely melt it down. Once it is melted, add 15 drops of Ultramarine Violet FUN Soap Colorant, 6 grams of fragrance, and 6 grams of stabilizer. Mix together thoroughly. Before you pour in the purple layer, make sure to once again spray the blue layer with alcohol so the layers will successfully adhere to each other. Then carefully pour the purple on top of the blue, filling the mold another ¼ full. Spray this layer with alcohol to defeat the air bubbles and let it sit.

Once that layer has sat, repeat the same process for the next two layers! Don’t forget to spray each layer before adding the next so that they will adhere to each other! And also make sure to remember to let each layer sit and harden before adding the next! Once you have finished your last layer, make sure to let the soap sit in the mold, giving it time to harden. Then your new Easter Egg Soap is ready to enjoy!

Be creative! You do not have to do the layers in the exact order we have! Do whatever your heart desires! Enjoy this awesome recipe and make sure to check out all the rest of our free recipes and classes as well! Keep watching for more Enlightened by Layla!
