Make Preparations for the Champagne CP Soap Project

Before you start working on your handcrafted soap, you will have to make some preparations for the Champagne CP Soap Project. First, you are going to want to gather all of your soap making supplies that are listed for this cosmetic recipe. Boil the Champagne for the Cold Process Soap RecipeBoil the Champagne for the Cold Process Soap Recipe

Another preparation that you will need to make is to boiling the champagne for your soap recipe with lye. So, you will want to place this alcohol into a pot. Then, use a stove top to boil it for about 30-40 minutes. Be sure that you stir your champagne periodically as it boils.

After this amount of time has elapsed, you will weigh out and carefully pour the champagne into ice cube freezer trays. Next, you will place these trays in the freezer overnight. When you are ready to make your champagne soap, the frozen champagne  cubes will be used to replace half of the water portion in the water/lye solution.

Using Alcohol in Soap Making

We have some advice for using alcohol in soap making. When you are choosing your champagne, we would recommend that you try to use something with a lower sugar content. If you are using a type of champagne with a high sugar content, then it will speed up gel. This extra sugar will increase the likelihood that your soap batter will bubble up and out of the soap mold. While it is less likely, this may occur even with the lower sugar content for your champagne. With this in mind, you will want to prepare for this possibility. So, take proper precautions at safeguarding the surface your mold is placed on.

You will be filling up your wholesale soap mold by pouring only into only two of the corners. These corners will need to be diagonal from one another. Then, you will need to choose two of your colors to start with to pour into the corners. You will need to pour one into each of the corners at the same time. Then, switch the bowls between your hands and pour these colors at the same time. Next, you will grab the two remaining colors, pour one into each corner, switch hands, and pour again. You will need to repeat this process until the mold is filled.

Spinning Your CP SoapSpinning Your CP Soap

As soon as you have your soap mold filled, you are going to spin the soap to create the design for this cp soap recipe. So, you will need to gently transfer the soap mold from the table and onto the lazy Susan. Then, you can begin to slowly spin the lazy Susan in a single direction. This spinning will begin to move your soap batter and create wavy lines. You will want to continue to swirl the soap until you feel that your design has enough swirl. Once you are satisfied with the design of your swirl soap, you can stop spinning the lazy Susan.

Finishing Your Spin Swirl Soap

Now, your cold process soap is nearly ready to use! All you have left to do is allow your soap the time to set up and cure. After 24-43 hours you can remove the soap from the cosmetic mold. Make a Few Preparations for the Soy Lotion Recipe

Before you begin creating your diy lotion, you will want to make a few preparations. First, you will need to gather and wash any equipment you are going to need to make this wholesale lotion recipe. Also, you will want to gather all of your lotion making equipment that will be needed for you to create this bath and body recipe. Next, you are going to want to clean up a space for you to use as a work area. You will want to clear off enough space for you to work comfortably.

Sanitizing The Water for Your Soy Lotion Recipe

If you don’t have distilled water, then you are going to need to prepare your water. You will need to boil your water to destroy any germs that may have been present. So, you will need to fill your pot with water and boil it. Also, be sure to add more than 48 ounces of water as some of the water will evaporate during this process. Having extra water will ensure that you have enough for this lotion recipe. Now, you will need to make sure your water reaches at least 185 degrees Fahrenheit. You can use your thermometer to make sure that your boiling water reaches this temperature. Then, you will need to keep your water at this temperature for at least five minutes. After waiting for this amount of time, your water will be ready to use. So, you can remove the water from the stove and weigh out the water for this lotion recipe.

Weighing and Cooling the Water For the Soy Lotion RecipeWeighing and Cooling the Water for the Soy Lotion Recipe

Now, you are ready to weigh out the water for this bath and body recipe. You will want to add this amount to a medium sized mixing bowl. So, you will need to measure out 48 ounces of the water. Before you can move on to the next step in the process, you will need to make sure that your water has cooled to about 100 degrees Fahrenheit. If you proceed with making your lotion too soon, you could ruin your homemade lotion recipe. Adding water that is still too hot can break down ingredients in the base itself.

Weigh Out the Wholesale Lotion Base For the Soy Lotion RecipeWeigh Out the Wholesale Lotion Base for the Soy Lotion Recipe

Next, you are going to weigh out the wholesale lotion base for the soy lotion recipe. This recipe is going to require the entire container of wholesale lotion base. So, you will need to weigh out 16 ounces of the Natural Soy Body Butter Lotion Base and add it to a mixing bowl.

The Wholesale Lotion Base For the Soy Lotion RecipeThe Wholesale Lotion Base for the Soy Lotion Recipe

This bath and body recipe includes a fantastic wholesale lotion base! Our Natural Soy Body Butter uses a variety of conditioning oils and other cosmetic ingredients that are perfect for skincare. This lotion base will yield stable emulsions with a light texture. Further, this lotion base shows a very good emolliency without any greasy after-feel as the conditioning properties sink down into the skin. As this base is fully saturated, it is not prone to rancidity. So, you can enjoy the convenience of using a lotion base as well as the beneficial skincare properties of a lotion that is made from scratch!

Adding the Cosmetic Colorant and Mica to the Soy Lotion RecipeAdding the Cosmetic Colorant to the Soy Lotion Recipe

Once you have added the lotion base in your mixing bowl, you are going to be adding the cosmetic colorants to your lotion recipe. So, you will need to add 4 drops of the Blue Da Bomb Soap Dye and 9 drops of the Red Da Bomb Soap Dye to your scented lotion recipe. Once these are added, you are ready for the next step in the process.

Adding Additional Cosmetic Ingredients to the Soy Lotion Recipe

Now, we are going to be adding some more ingredients to the soy body butter base. Since we are adding additional carrier oils to the lotion base, we are going to need to make sure we don’t add over 3% total oil based on the finished product weight. This maximum of added oils will make sure that your finished lotion is fully emulsified and that there are no excess oils that haven’t mixed in. So, you will be able to create a non greasy homemade lotion. For this homemade lotion recipe we are going to use just under 2% of the NG CanCan Type fragrance oil and 1% of the argan oil. You can find the exact amounts of each that were included in the steps below.

Scenting Your Soy Lotion RecipeScenting Your Soy Lotion Recipe

Now, you are going to be using a rate of 2% to scent your lotion recipe. So, you will need to weigh out 1.25 ounces of the NG CanCan Type Fragrance Oil. This scented oil has an aroma of fresh mandarin that is balanced with hints of apple peel to open up this feminine fragrance. At the heart of this scent, jasmine, violet and lily form a floral accord that balances notes of woodland fern and hints of berry. Further, the scent ends on a blended base of sensual cashmere musk, golden amber and vanilla bean creates a romantic sweetness that surrounds the floral notes. This fragrance is perfect for making long-lasting scented lotion that is absolutely irresistible!

Adding the Argan Oil to the Soy Lotion RecipeAdding the Argan Oil to the Soy Lotion Recipe

Next, you are going to be using the 1% rate to add the argan oil to your mixture. This will provide some additional conditioning properties to your finished product. So, you are going to add 0.5 ounces of the Argan Oil to your lotion mixture. After adding this cosmetic oil, you can use your stick blender to mix everything together. This wholesale cosmetic oil is easily absorbed into the skin and is fantastic for making quality skincare recipes. Further, this lotion making ingredient allows the skin to breathe and is in many anti-acne formulations. So, this is a great cosmetic oil for your skincare products!

Combine All of the Soy Lotion Recipe IngredientsCombine All of the Soy Lotion Recipe Ingredients

Now, you are going to need to thoroughly mix all of these ingredients together. You are going to need to use a stick blender to combine all of these ingredients thoroughly. As your mixture continues to cool, it will thicken up on its own. Once you have fully mixed in all of these wholesale cosmetic ingredients, you are ready to add the last ingredient.

Adding the Mica Powder to the Soy Lotion RecipeAdding the Mica Powder to the Soy Lotion Recipe

Lastly, you are going to add in some shimmery powdered mica. So, you are going to want to include 4 teaspoons of the Diamond Dust Mica Pigment in your lotion mixture. Now that everything has been mixed together well, you will need to let your lotion cool down to room temperature. So, you can leave your lotion recipe in the mixing bowl for the moment.

Fill the Bottles For Your Soy Lotion Recipe Fill the Bottles For Your Soy Lotion Recipe

Once your homemade hand lotion has cooled to about room temperature, you are ready to fill your lotion bottles. So, you are going to need to set out about six of the 8 ounce clear bottles on your work space. You will be adding your thickened lotion to your wholesale lotion bottles. We suggest that you either use a funnel or a Ziplock bag to add your scented lotion to the containers. If you use a Ziplock bag, you will need to cut a hole in the corner to act as a spout for adding the lotion to the bottle. After you have used all of the lotion to fill your bottles, you can secure the white disc lids to top of each bottle.

Decorate The Bottles For the Soy Lotion Recipe Decorate The Bottles For the Soy Lotion Recipe

Now that all of your lotion bottles are filled, you are ready to move on to decorating your containers! So, you are going to need your hot glue gun, bling ribbon, and rhinestone. You are going to need to cut a piece of the ribbon that is the diameter of the bottle. So, you will be able to wrap this ribbon around the center of the bottle. Then, you will need to use a hot glue gun to secure the ribbon in place. After the ribbon is in place, you are going to adhere the pink acrylic rhinestone to the center of the ribbon where you had previously glued the ends down. Now, you will want to add this decoration to each of your filled lotion bottles.

Using the Finished Soy Lotion Recipe

Finally, you are ready to use your completed lotion recipe. Of course, you can use your homemade lotion right away to nourish and care for your skin. Also, you can store your finished homemade lotion that isn’t greasy for later or even use this scented lotion in your body care business. No matter how you choose to use your easy homemade lotion, you will be sure to love the skincare properties that it will provide for you!

Skincare Benefits of Soy in Your Soy Lotion Recipe

There are so many skincare benefits of soy, which is soya oil. This cosmetic ingredient is a strong anti-oxidant and has skin nourishing properties that can really benefit the health of your skin! So, this wholesale lotion base may be one of the best lotion bases for skincare! First, you will want to gather and wash any equipment you are going to need to create your homemade bubble bars. Also, you will want to gather all of the equipment that are needed for you to create this cosmetic recipe. Next, you are going to want to clean up a space for you to use as a work area. You will want to clear off enough space for you to work comfortably. These simple preparations will make the process of making your bubble bar ice cream scoops easier and more fun!

Bubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Preparing the Dry IngredientsBubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Preparing the Dry Ingredients

The first thing that you are going to do for this bubble bath scoops recipe is prepare all of the dry cosmetic ingredients. So, you are going to need to get a medium mixing bowl that you will use to combine all of your dry ingredients. Then, you will be able to weigh out 205 grams of the SCI, 230 grams of the baking soda, 112 grams of the cream of tartar, and 36 grams of the corn starch. Then, you can add all of these wholesale cosmetic powders to your medium mixing bowl. You will need to use your gloved hands to thoroughly mix all of these cosmetic ingredients together. Also, you are going to want to use your gloved hands to break up any clumps that may be present in these powdered cosmetic ingredients.

Bubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Adding the Wet IngredientsBubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Adding the Wet Ingredients

Next, you are going to weigh out both of the cosmetic oils for this bath and body recipe. So, you are going to need to weigh out 100 grams of the vegetable glycerin and 10 grams of the fractionated coconut oil. After measuring these amounts you are going to add both of these cosmetic ingredients to the powder mixture. Again, you will use your gloved hands to mix these cosmetic ingredients together well. Once these cosmetic oils have been fully incorporated into the powder you can move on to the next step of the process.

Bubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Scenting the MixtureBubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Scenting the Mixture

Now, you are going to scent your cosmetic mixture. So, you are going to need to weigh out 7 grams of the NG CanCan Type Fragrance Oil. Then, you will use your gloved hands to incorporate the fragrance oil into the mixture. Adding this scented oil will provide you with an aroma of fresh mandarin that balances with hints of apple peel to open this feminine fragrance. Then, jasmine, violet and lily form a floral accord that balances with woodland fern and hints of berry at the heart of this scent. Finally, a sensual blend of cashmere musk, golden amber and vanilla bean creates a romantic sweetness that surrounds the floralcy. So, adding this lovely fragrance oil will provide a gorgeous feminine touch to this adorable bath and body recipe!

Bubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Dividing the MixtureBubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Dividing the Mixture

Then, you are going to divide your bubble bar dough mixture into three separate portions. Each of these three portions of the dough will be made into a different color for this cosmetic recipe. You will want to make sure that these three portions each have about the same amount of the dough mixture. Then, you need to roll each portion into a ball. After, you will want to place each balled up portion into its own bowl.

Bubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Prepare the White PortionBubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Prepare the White Portion

First, you are going to prepare the white portion of this bath recipe. This portion of the bath scoop is going to be white and uncolored. So, you can leave this portion of the dough without any of the cosmetic colorant. All you need to do for this portion is roll it into a ball. Then, you can place this ball of dough in a medium mixing bowl and set the bowl aside for you to use in a later step.

Bubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Prepare the Pink PortionBubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Prepare the Pink Portion

Second, you are going to prepare the pink portion for the bubble bar recipe. For this portion of the dough you are going to add 5 drops of the Neon Pink FUN soap Colorant and 6 drops of the Ultramarine Violet FUN Soap Colorant. You will need to use your gloved hands to mix in the colorant until you have an even color throughout the dough. Then, you are going to add in one teaspoon of the Diamond Dust Mica Pigment to your bath and body mixture. Again, you will need to use your gloved hands to incorporate the mica dust. Once everything is mixed together, you can roll the dough into a ball, place it in the bowl, and set it aside for the moment.

Bubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Prepare the Purple PortionBubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Prepare the Purple Portion

Lastly, you are going to prepare the purple portion for your bubble bar scoops. In this dough portion you are going to add 10 drops of the Ultramarine Violet FUN Soap Colorant and 1 drop of the Neon Pink FUN Soap Colorant. You will need to use clean gloved hands to mix the colorant fully into the dough. Once you have an even color throughout the dough, you are going to add in one teaspoon of the Diamond Dust Mica Pigment to this portion of the bath and body mixture. Again, you will use your gloved hands to incorporate the mica powder dust. Then, you will need to roll the dough into a ball and set it aside for now.

Bubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Combining the Three Colored Dough PortionsBubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Combining the Three Colored Dough Portions

Now you are going to need all three balls of dough. You will want to place them together into one mixing bowl. Of course, you will want to push these balls close together to prevent too much of a gap forming between the colors. So, you will want to sandwich the uncolored dough between the pink and purple dough. Then, you are going to press down on your three balled up portions. You will want to continue to flatten your dough until the top resembles a freshly opened container of Neapolitan ice cream. Once your colors have been flattened, you are ready to move on to the next step in the process.

Bubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Scooping the Bubble BarsBubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Scooping the Bubble Bars

Now that your bowl of bubble bar dough has been flattened out, you are ready to create your little ice cream scoops! Now you are going to want to use your ice cream scoop to create your bath recipe. You will want to start on one side of the bowl and move your way across the bowl through the other colors. Your goal should be to get a little bit of all three colors in a single scoop. While you are scooping the dough, you will need to pack the dough into the ice cream scoop a bit to make sure that the dough will hold its form. Once you have the dough packed, you are ready to release it from the ice cream scoop. As you create the bubble bar scoops, you will need to place each of them into a piece of parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. You will need to repeat scooping and placing on either your paper or mat until all of the bubble bar dough has been used up.

Bubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Letting the Scoops Set UpBubble Bar Scoops Recipe: Letting the Scoops Set Up

After you have created all of your bubble bar scoops, you will need to let your finished bath and body creations rest. At this point your bath bars are too soft to use and will need time to set up. Waiting for the bubble bar scoops to set up will take a few days. The exact amount of time depends on the humidity level in your area. For instance, it may be a bit longer for those living with high humidity levels. But you will be able to tell when your bubble bars have set up when they have hardened and are no longer cool to the touch.
