This means that you will need at 425 grams of water. However, we would recommend that you add some extra water to your pot to ensure that you have enough water remaining after boiling. Dreama Bubble Bar Recipe: Clean and Sanitize

If you take just a few preventative steps it will help things move along smoothly! You should always prep your supplies and work area before beginning your craft recipes. This helps in creating your homemade recipe without needing to stop right in the middle to look for your ingredients. First, you will want to clean your work space to ensure that you have enough room to work. Next, give your utensils and scale a quick rinse with some soap and water. Lastly, have all your ingredients ready for measuring and within easy reach! For sanitary reasons go ahead and put your rubber safety gloves on. Now, you are ready to make this lovely bubble bar recipe!

Dreama Bubble Bar Recipe: Create a Double Boiler

Before you start weighing out your cosmetic oils you are going to want to create the double boiler. While you will still need to stir, the double boiler will be useful for saving your cosmetic oils from scorching. To create a double boiler you will need two pots where one will fit into the other. In the larger pot, you will add the water, which will be heated on the stovetop. Next, place your smaller pot into the pot with water. Now, you will want to heat your water. As long as the water doesn’t boil over into the smaller pot, you are ready to add your cosmetic ingredients to melt.

6 grams of the White Kaolin Clay Powder
10 grams of the Xanthan Gum – Natural Thickener
70 grams of the Shea Butter
30 grams of the Mango Butter
29 grams of the Vegetable Glycerin
9 grams of the Avocado Oil
23 grams of the Dreama Fragrance Oil
3 drops of the Neon Yellow FUN Soap Colorant
2 drops of the Yellow Oxide FUN Soap Colorant
3 drops of the Neon Green FUN Soap Colorant
2 drops of the Kelly Green FUN Soap Colorant
1 teaspoon of the Diamond Mica Dust Pigment

Dreama Bubble Bar Recipe: Preparing the Dry Ingredients

First, you are going to prepare your dry ingredients for this cosmetic recipe. You will need to add 226 grams of the Baking Soda, 145 grams of the Corn Starch, 6 grams of the White Kaolin Clay Powder, and 10 grams of the Xanthan Gum to your mixing bowl. Also, you will add 229 grams of the Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate to the bowl, too. This bubble bar cosmetic is an slsa substitute for bath bombs and bubble bars. You will want to use your hands, with latex gloves, to break up any clumps that may be left in these powders. Once this mixture is free of clumps, you can set this bowl to the side for now.

Dreama Bubble Bar Recipe: Heating the Oils and Butters

Next, you are going to want to use the double boiler that you have created. You will need to add 70 grams of the Shea Butter, 30 grams of the Mango Butter, and 9 grams of the Avocado Oil to the smaller pot of your double boiler. While the double boiler will help prevent these natural oils from scorching, you still need to stir occasionally to melt everything. Once all of these cosmetic ingredients have melted, you are ready to turn off the stove and move on to the next step in the process.

Dreama Bubble Bar Recipe: Mix Everything TogetherDreama Bubble Bar Recipe: Mix Everything Together

Now you are ready to mix the melted cosmetic oils and the dry mixture together. So, retrieve your mixing bowl of the dry cosmetic ingredients. You will be adding the melted oils and butters to this bowl. You will want to use your gloved hands to mix these wholesale cosmetic ingredients together very well. Also, you will want to include 29 grams of the Vegetable Glycerin and 1 teaspoon Diamond Dust Mica. Then, you will need to continue to mix these bath and body ingredients until everything is incorporated into an even, dough-like consistency.

Dreama Bubble Bar Recipe: Adding the Dreama Fragrance OilDreama Bubble Bar Recipe: Adding the Dreama Fragrance Oil

Also, you will want to add the scent to your bubble bar batter. You will need to add 23 grams of the Dreama Fragrance Oil to a separate small bowl. When you are ready to mix in this scented oil, pour the fragrance into your bubble bar mixture. You will need to use your gloved hands to thoroughly mix this floral aroma into your dough.

You are going to love this scented oil in your slsa free bubble bar recipe! The Dreama Fragrance Oil begins with lovely notes of oakmoss and lilies. These notes are followed by middle notes of ylang ylang and jasmine and bottom notes of amber, musk, and sandalwood.

Dreama Bubble Bar Recipe: Separating the Bubble Bar

Next, you are going to want to separate your bubble bar mixture into three separate portions. But, these three portions won’t be equal. One portion will become the base of your homemade bubble bar and will use the most. A second portion will be the petals of the flower on top of the bubble bar. The last portion will be the smallest portion that is used for the middle of the bubble bar flower.

Dreama Bubble Bar Recipe: Preparing the PetalsDreama Bubble Bar Recipe: Preparing the Petals

Now, you are going to remove some of the bubble bar mixture to use for the petals of the flower later on. So, you will need to take 200 grams of the overall mixture and put it in a new mixing bowl. This portion will remain uncolored to be the white petals of the flower. You can set this bowl aside for now to use in a later step.

Dreama Bubble Bar Recipe: Preparing the Yellow CenterDreama Bubble Bar Recipe: Preparing the Yellow Center

Next, you are going to take a bit more from the bubble bar mixture to prepare the yellow center of the flower. So, you will need to remove 29 grams of the batter and add it to a new mixing bowl. You will need to add 3 drops of the Neon Yellow FUN Soap Colorant and 2 drops of the Yellow Oxide FUN Soap Colorant to your bowl. You will need to use your gloved hands to mix the color into the batter thoroughly.

Dreama Bubble Bar Recipe: Preparing the Green BaseDreama Bubble Bar Recipe: Preparing the Green Base

You will need 260 grams of the bubble bar dough to create the base of your finished bath and body recipe. This bubble bar portion will be colored with 3 drops of the Neon Green FUN Soap Colorant and 2 drops of the Kelly Green FUN Soap Colorant. You will need to use your clean, gloved hands to mix the color into the batter thoroughly.

Dreama Bubble Bar Recipe: Filling the Cosmetic MoldDreama Bubble Bar Recipe: Filling the Cosmetic Mold

Now that your green portion is ready to use, you are going to use it to fill the base of your bubble bar. So, you will need to get the 6 Cavity Muffin Silicone Soap Mold. Then, you will use your gloved hands to pack the cavities in the mold until you use all of the dough. This green portion will allow you to make about five bubble bars in total. Once you have used all of your green mixture, you are ready to move on to the next step in the process.

Dreama Bubble Bar Recipe: Creating the Flower CenterDreama Bubble Bar Recipe: Creating the Flower Center

Next, you are going to start creating the flower portion for these bath and body creations. First, you need to create the center of the flower.  You will want to grab the yellow portion that you had prepared in a previous step. Now, grab a small piece of this portion and roll it into a ball shape. Then, you will want to press your yellow ball into the center of each green base. This will act as the center of each flower. Of course, the green base will still be in the mold as it has not set up yet.

Dreama Bubble Bar Recipe: Start Making the PetalsDreama Bubble Bar Recipe: Start Making the Petals

After adding the center of the flower to you mold, you are ready to start creating the petals. So, you will want to pinch off an amount between 7 grams and 8 grams of your uncolored portion. Use your fingers to roll your dough into a thick petal shape. Also, you will want your petal to look similar to the picture shown to the left. You will need to create 25 petals in total, which will end up being five petals for each flower.

Dreama Bubble Bar Recipe: Finish Making the FlowerDreama Bubble Bar Recipe: Finish Making the Flower

You will need to use the petals you made to finish up the flower. Since you will need to have five for each flower, you will want to space out the petals right. For each petal you will want to start by setting it in place. Then, press it down using more pressure on the area of the petal that is closest to the outer edge and light pressure near the yellow center.  You will want to repeat this process for each of the petals.

Using Yogurt and Powdered Milk in Soap Making: Creating the Lye Solution for the Milk SoapUsing Yogurt and Powdered Milk in Soap Making: Creating Frozen Milk Soap

In order to begin making soap you are going to want to prepare the milk for your cp soap recipe. So, you will want to weigh out the powdered milk and the distilled water to create the milk solution. You will need to use eight ounces of the water and one ounce of the powdered milk. You will want to mix these ingredients together well to create the powdered milk solution.

Using Yogurt and Powdered Milk in Soap Making: Creating Frozen Yogurt Soap

Alternatively, you can create this soap making recipe using powdered yogurt instead of the powdered milk. Of course, the yogurt will provide your skin with all kinds of benefits. The powdered yogurt is just another great soap making ingredient that you can include. So, you are going to want to prepare the yogurt solution, which includes eight ounces of the water and one ounce of the powdered yogurt. You will create the homemade soap in the exact same way.

Using Yogurt and Powdered Milk in Soap Making: Freezing the Milk SolutionUsing Yogurt and Powdered Milk in Soap Making: Freezing the Milk or Yogurt Solution

Now that you have created either a milk solution or yogurt solution, you are going to need to fill up your mold. You can use an ice cube tray or even a small soap mold. We decided to use the 24 hearts silicone mold. After you have filled up your chosen mold for the buttermilk solution mixture, you will want to transfer your soap mold to the freezer. You will need to wait for your milk solution to completely freeze before moving on to the next step. So, make sure that you have solid, frozen pieces before moving onto the next step.

Using Yogurt and Powdered Milk in Soap Making: Preparing the Oils for Your Soap RecipeUsing Yogurt and Powdered Milk in Soap Making: Preparing the Oils for Your Soap Recipe

Now, you are going to want to weigh out all of your cosmetic oils.  You will want to add 26 grams of Apricot Kernel Oil, 49 grams of Shea Butter, 14 grams of Castor Oil, 63 grams of Sunflower Oil, 53 grams of Mango Butter, 57 grams of Palm Oil, and 113 grams of Coconut Oil. Then, you will want to completely melt your cosmetic ingredients. After melting these ingredients you will want to wait for your melted oils to room temperature.

Using Yogurt and Powdered Milk in Soap Making: Mixing Up the Lye Solution

Next, once the temperature of your oils has dropped to room temperature, you are ready to prepare your lye solution.  For this cp soap recipe, we will want to soap at the lowest temperature possible. So, we will prepare our lye solution and soap right away to keep the temperature as low as possible. Soaping at a low temperature will prevent the milk from overheating and creating an unpleasant smell.

Using Yogurt and Powdered Milk in Soap Making: Mixing Your Frozen Milk and Lye Together

Once your buttermilk or yogurt has completely frozen, you can remove it from the mold. Now, you will want to measure out 144 grams of your frozen yogurt or buttermilk. Also, you will need to weigh out 53 grams of the lye in a separate bowl. You are going to want to mix up your lye solution in a well ventilated area. Of course, you will want to make sure that you wear a face mask and protective clothing. Now, you are able to add the measured amount of lye to the frozen milk. Make sure that you stir your mixture as you are adding the lye.

Using Yogurt and Powdered Milk in Soap Making: Creating the Lye SolutionUsing Yogurt and Powdered Milk in Soap Making: Continue Creating the Lye Solution

As you continue to mix the lye the frozen buttermilk or yogurt, you will notice that it will begin to melt. Since this mixture will include milk, we don’t want the temperature to reach levels that will create a sour smell. This is why we needed to freeze the milk prior to creating your lye solution. So, you will notice that your lye solution does not reach a temperature that is too high. This will allow you to add powdered yogurts or milks to your soap while maintaining the integrity and quality of each bar.

Using Yogurt and Powdered Milk in Soap Making: Combining the Lye Solution and Cosmetic OilsUsing Yogurt and Powdered Milk in Soap Making: Combining the Lye Solution and Cosmetic Oils

Now, combine your soaping oils and lye solution. After combining these two mixtures of soap making ingredients, you will need to blend all of these soaping ingredients together. You will want to use a stick blender to do this. Once you hit trace for your soap batter, you are ready to move on to the next step of the soap making process. This means that you are ready to pour your soap into the mold.

Using Yogurt and Powdered Milk in Soap Making: Filling Up the Soap MoldUsing Yogurt and Powdered Milk in Soap Making: Filling Up the Soap Mold

Now that all of your soap making ingredients are mixed together, you are ready to fill the soap mold! Once you have used all of your soap batter to fill up your soap mold, you will want to place the soap in the freezer for about 24 hours.  This way the temperature of the soap batter will remain low.  Finally, remove the soap from the soap mold. Then, you are going to want to wait for your soaps to cure before using your finished bars of soap.

First of all, you should know that this recipe is best prepared in non-humid climates. While you can try to make this recipe in a humid environment, it may take longer for your bath bomb to set up.

Also, you should clean your work space and equipment before you begin working on your diy bath bomb recipe. First, washing your craft supplies will prevent you from getting your cosmetic recipe from getting dirty. Plus, cleaning your work space will give you more space to work on creating your scrumptiously scented bath bombs.

Bacon Bath Bomb Recipe: Before Making Your Bath Bomb

Before beginning this bath bomb recipe, you will need to prepare a bottle of witch hazel. This witch hazel will be used a little later on in the process to activate the bath bomb mixture. So, you will want to fill your 8 oz bullet bottle with witch hazel and add the spray bottle lid. Now, you can set this bottle aside until you need it at a later step.

Also, you may want to get disposable, latex gloves for this recipe. Wearing gloves allows you to use your hands to mix the bath bomb, which is easier to mix your cosmetic ingredients. Plus, the gloves will help you to keep your cosmetic mixture clean as you are mixing your bath bomb ingredients.

Bacon Bath Bomb Recipe: Weigh Out Baking Soda Powder

First, you are going to weigh out 460 grams of the Baking Soda. After measuring this amount of baking soda, you are going to add this ingredient to a medium mixing bowl. Once you have measured and added this cosmetic ingredient to your bowl, you will want to break up any of the clumps in your baking soda. One of the easiest ways for you to break up these clumps is the use your hands. Of course, you will want to wear gloves to protect your bath bomb mixture. This way you can safely use your hands to easily break up the clumps that may be present. This will make sure the baking soda power is smooth and ready to mix with the other cosmetic ingredients.

Bacon Bath Bomb Recipe: Adding the Cosmetic Clay Powders

Once your baking soda is smooth and free of clumps, you are ready to add the remaining dry ingredients to the mixture. So, you are going to want to measure and add these dry ingredients to your medium mixing bowl. So, you will need to weigh out 250 grams of the Citric Acid. Also, you will need to measure 10 grams of the Bentonite Clay powder. Then, add both of these ingredients to your medium mixing bowl. After adding these ingredients, you can use your gloved hands to thoroughly mix your cosmetic ingredients together. Once all of your ingredients have been mixed together well, you are ready to move on to the next step in this process.

Bacon Bath Bomb Recipe: Scenting Your Bath Bomb Mixture

Now, you are ready to scent your luscious bath bomb mixture with the lovely aroma of our Bacon Fragrance Oil. This delicious and fun bath bomb scent was created to have an aroma that smells just like real, freshly made bacon! If you would like to add this yummy scent to your bath bomb recipe, then weigh out 14 grams of the wholesale Bacon Fragrance Oil. After weighing this scent, you can add this bacon scented oil to the rest of your cosmetic ingredients in the medium mixing bowl. Next, you will want to use your gloved hands to fully mix all of these bath bomb ingredients together. Once this fragrance oil has been combined well into the mix of dry ingredients, you are ready to move on to the next step in the process.

Bacon Bath Bomb Recipe: Separating and Coloring the Mixture

Now that your dry cosmetic ingredients and the fragrance oil mixture are fully blended together, you are ready to separate the mixture into portions. You will need to separate your cosmetic mixture into three, even portions. So, you will want to use two additional mixing bowls and move some of your mixture to have an equal portion of this mixture in each bowl. Each of these portions will be a different color for your bath recipe.

Bacon Bath Bomb Recipe: The First Portion of the Mixture

First, you will have a mixture portion that will remain uncolored. So, this portion of the mixture will be white in the final bath bomb mixture. Now, you can set this bowl of uncolored mixture aside for the time being.

Bacon Bath Bomb Recipe: Coloring One Mixture Portion

Now, you will want to choose one of your two remaining portions of this cosmetic mixture to color. You will be using both Red Oxide and Brown Oxide to this cosmetic mixture. Then, add a small amount of the Red Oxide FUN Soap Colorant along with a few drops of the Brown Oxide FUN Soap Colorant to this bowl. You can use a toothpick to add a small amount of the Red Oxide to your mixture. After adding these cosmetic soap colorants, you are ready to mix everything together. Again, you will want to use gloved hands to mix the colorant fully into your bath bomb mixture. Continue mixing your cosmetic ingredients until the color has been evenly blended.

Bacon Bath Bomb Recipe: Coloring the Second Mixture Portion

Next, you will want to take the last remaining portion of your bath bomb mixture. Then, you will add Red Oxide and Tomato Red colorant to your mixture. So, add a small amount of the Red Oxide FUN Soap Colorant and a few drops of the Tomato Red FUN Soap Colorant to this mixture. Of course, you will want to use some clean gloves to mix this colorant into your cosmetic ingredients. This way you won’t accidentally blend the previous color into this new mixture.

Bacon Bath Bomb Recipe: Activate Your Bath Bomb Mixtures

Before you can add your mixtures to the bath bomb mold, you will need to activate each of your three mixture portions. So, grab one of the bowls of mixture and begin to lightly spritz the mixture with witch hazel. After a few spritzes with the witch hazel, you will want to use a gloved hand to mix the ingredients together. You will continue to mix and spray witch hazel until the mixture feels like crumbly dough in your hands. You will want to be careful not to over spray your mixture! Once you get the right consistency, you will repeat this process with the two remaining bowls of the bath bomb mixtures.

Bacon Bath Bomb Recipe: Begin Filling Your Bath Bomb Molds

Now, you are ready to begin filling up your bath bomb molds. For each of your bath bomb molds, you will need to use these three colors to create a layered bath bomb. We suggest that you use a specific order for the mixture colors. First, you will add a small amount of your darkest colored mixture to the mold. Next, you will add a small amount of the other colored mixture. Then, you will add some of the uncolored mixture to the mold. You will want to continue layering in this order until the bath bomb half is full. Of course, you will want to repeat this process with the remaining bath bomb mold halves until you run out of your mixture portions.

Bacon Bath Bomb Recipe: Combining the Bath Bomb Halves

Once all of your bath bomb mold halves are filled you are ready to combine these bath bomb molds. So, take two of your filled bath bomb halves. Then, you will want to lightly spritz each of the halves. After you have sprayed each of the two halves with witch hazel, you will push the two halves together until the halves snap shut. Once the two halves are attached, you can set this bath bomb mold aside. So, you will want to repeat this process to put all the remaining halves together.

Bacon Bath Bomb Recipe: Letting Your Bath Bombs Set Up

Now your bath bombs are just about ready for you to use! However, you need to let your bath bombs completely set up before using your finished product. Depending on your climate, this could take anywhere from a day or two to week. Once your bath bomb has completely hardened, you are ready to use your finished product! Of course, you can remove your bacon bath bomb to use right away or package using your own supplies. Additionally, you can leave the cosmetic mixture in the bath bomb mold for easy packaging! Either way, we hope that you enjoy your bacon bath bombs!
