Our silky emulsifying wax is an emulsifier that can be used in your hair and skin care products. This wax allows water-based ingredients and oil-based ingredients to bind together and provides a silky feel to your recipes. Silky emulsifying wax is a low odor, plant-based mixture of fatty alcohols and ethoxylated fatty alcohols that add wonderful stability to your products. It is highly stable in acidic and basic media and compatible with most cosmetic and pharmaceutical ingredients. We recommend using our silky emulsifying wax in levels of 1 to 10%.
