Other Ingredients & Equipment You'll Need:
Stainless Steel Measuring Spoon
Stainless steel spoon
Pot (For Double Boiler)
Step 1: First prepare the pie crust layer. We chose to make ours look like a chocolate pie crust. Weigh out 3 ounces of Pillar of Bliss Wax.
Step 2: Place the wax into a pouring pot. Using the double boiler method as described in one of our classes, melt the pillar wax on low on the stove until the wax is completed melted. Set out 2 Silicone Mini Muffin Molds.
Step 3: Once melted and at the correct temperature, you will need two toothpicks. Using the toothpicks, add a small amount of both brown liquid candle dye and black candle colorant. Then, place your pouring pot on the scale and add 0.3 ounces of Pumpkin Cheesecake Fragrance Oil. Stir to incorporate.
Step 4: Quickly pour the wax mixture into the mini muffin mold. You will be able to fill about 16 cavities approximately 1/3 of the way full. Allow to set up completely.
Step 5: Next, prepare the pumpkin cheesecake layer. Weigh out 6 ounces of Pillar of Bliss Wax and place it in the pouring pot. Again, use a double boiler to melt the wax.
Step 6: Once melted, use a toothpick to add a small amount of each brown, yellow, and orange liquid candle dye. Then, add 0.6 ounces of Pumpkin Cheesecake Fragrance Oil. Stir to incorporate.
Step 7: Now, fill each cavity with a cheesecake layer. You want to fill the remaining 2/3 of each cavity. Allow to harden.
Step 8: Prepare the whipped wax topping. Use your scale to weigh out 9 ounces of Joy wax.
Step 9: Place the wax into a pouring pot. Using the double boiler method as described in one of our classes, melt the container wax on low on the stove until the wax is completed melted. Using your scale to weigh and add 0.9 ounces of Pumpkin Cheesecake Fragrance Oil to the wax. Stir.
Step 10: When the wax is starting to set up in the pot, use a spoon to begin whipping the wax. You want to acheive a whipped topping like texture.
Step 11: Quickly frost each of your cheesecake bases. Use your spoon to fluff the tops so it looks like whipped cream.
Step 12: Sprinkle pumpkin pie spice blend powder over each of the wax melts. Then, once cooled, remove them from the molds.
Step 13: Once you have allowed the wax tarts to cure, place one in your burner and enjoy!
