Step1: Prepare your Rose Oil Infusion
You will need about 143 grams of Sweet Almond Oil and about 6 grams of Red Rose Petals. Six weeks prior to making this recipe, you will want to make your rose oil infusion. You will make this oil using the double boiler infusion method. The rose infusion needs steep for 6 weeks before the herb is strained out.
Step 2: Now, using the double boiler method, weight out and melt 136 grams Apricot Kernel Oil, 68 grams Shea Butter, 45 grams Silky Emulsifying Wax, 5 grams of Cocoa Butter.
Step 3: Next, add 113 grams of the rose oil infusion.
Step 4: Once everything is melted, allow temperature of your melted mixture to reach 120F and add 5 grams Optiphen, 5 grams Vitamin E, Arrowroot Powder and 10 grams Vanilla White Color Stabilizer. Stir.
Step 5: Once this is mixed, add 680 grams of granulated sugar.
Step 6: Add 14 grams Vanilla Bean fragrance and 14 grams Fresh Cut Roses fragrances. Mix thoroughly.
Step7: Place the scrub mixture into the jars and put the lids on.
Step 8: Finally, decorate your jars with the ribbon and decorative flowers.
