Natures Garden's WOW WaxTM

A soft and creamy single-pour paraffin blend wax that was created for container candles and has an exceptional scent throw.  Slabs are 10-12 pounds each.

Instructions for use:  Heat wax to 190 degrees.  Add candle dye.  Allow candle to cool to 180-170 degrees.  Add 1 ounce of fragrance oil per pound of melted wax.  We prefer to use CD Wicks or Zinc core wicks with this particular wax.  Pour hot wax mixture at 170-165 degrees into your containers.  Allow to cool at room temperature. Allow your candles to cure for approximately 3 days.  Enjoy!

Wax may differ from batch to batch.  All wax sales are final; we do not accept returns, and we do not offer replacements for any waxes we sell.  Please be aware of this when ordering.  There will be no exceptions.

Loved WOW Wax!

Reviewer: A viewer from Olympia, WA US 01/06/13

I loved WOW wax, but I did have to learn, after experimenting how to use it to get the fragrances to work best with it. I found the key was to melt the wax at a low temperature and really watch my thermometer when adding my color dye and fragrance. The first time I used it I followed the directions and used the temperatures they recommended, but then I found on line someone said to never add fragrances at temperatures over 110 degrees. When I did this I found the candles released the scent much better and the candles burned more of the wax. The key for me was patience, because it took a long time for the wax to melt at a low temp. Nature's Garden may not recommend this, but it worked for me. I am going to buy more than a slab of WOW wax on my next order.

I am a newbie at making candles but I have to say this wax was so easy to work with and the scent throw is AMAZING.... I am so glad I went with this choice. I just wish I would have ordered the Bulk.

Best Wax I Have Used

Reviewer: A viewer from Michigan, USA 11/24/14

This is the wax I used when I started making candles. I have tried other waxes and always come back to Wow Wax. I had problems with black soot at first, but after many trial and error I found that it wasn't the wax it was the wick/container combination. I also found that trimming the wicks a little under 1/4" will eliminate black soot. This wax burns clean and has AMAZING hot and cold throw. At 1 ounce of F/O per pound of wax, my 6 ounce candles easily scent an 800 sq. ft. room. This is the wax I will definitely continue to use.

1 pour every time

Reviewer: A viewer from Raytown, MO US 09/18/13

Loved this as a container candle wax only needed 1 pour it was some what messy to work with and finished product was easy to poke or gouge but good looking overall I still really like this product

Not Bad

This one worked okay for me, but the scent throw was not great. I prefer the Joy Wax.

So far so good!

Reviewer: A viewer from Wesley Chapel, FL US 02/23/13

The first wax I used was something called Eco soy wax. It was easy to work with because its per-shredded. I like wow wax better so far. It had great scent throw and didn't get the foggies after burning like Eco soy. I use CD wicks and the only thing odd was I seemed to get black soot. I don't know if it was just a bad wick or if this wax has something to do with it. I guess I will find out on batch #2!

I LOVE this wax!-----I have tried many in the 7 years I have been making candles and this one is a favorite. Excellent scent throw-no need for any additives! It is great all by itself. :)

Black Soot Issue

Reviewer: A viewer from Wesley Chapel, FL US 03/04/13

Well I am torn at this point. This wax has great scent throw and doesnt fog like some soy waxes BUT it creates black soot!! I thought at first I may have just had a bad wick but I have now made several candles and black soot is now an on going issue. I did research and found some soy blends will create black soot.... I determined this is one of them. Im really bummed because other than the soot this wax is great! I am undecided if I will buy this wax blend again... :(

I have ordered this wax in a couple of instances where I was short on time and couldn't make the drive to my regular vendor, however, I have found that the hot throw is always a let down. Some of my favorite fragrances that are amazing in my other wax are just kind of "blah" with Wow Wax. I love buying fragrance oils from Nature's Garden but I think I will stick to my usual vedor for wax.
